MSG Network has been broadcasting Knicks games for decades, and the 2026 scorebug shows why they are still one of the best regional sports networks in the country when it comes to broadcast design. The scorebug is sharp, well-balanced, and feels like it was actually designed by people who care about how their product looks on screen. That is not something you can say about every local NBA broadcast.
The layout is clean and compact. Team logos and abbreviations are easy to read at a glance, and the score is front and center where it should be. The quarter and game clock are positioned clearly without competing with the rest of the information. MSG uses a color palette that ties into the Knicks brand without going overboard. The blue and orange accents show up in the right places, giving the bug personality without making it feel cluttered or busy.
What really sets this scorebug apart from a lot of other local broadcasts is the polish. The typography is clean, the spacing feels intentional, and everything is proportioned well. Compare this to something like the FanDuel Sports Network template that 13 other NBA teams share, and the difference in quality is obvious. MSG clearly puts time and thought into their on-screen graphics package, and the Knicks scorebug reflects that.
If there is one small knock, it is that the design could push the envelope a little more. It is a very well-executed traditional scorebug, but it does not take any big swings visually. For a market like New York, there is room to be a little bolder. That said, we would rather have a clean and polished design than something flashy that does not work.

The Knicks MSG scorebug is one of the better local broadcast scorebugs in the NBA for 2026. It is clean, well-branded, and does not get in the way of the game. MSG continues to be one of the top regional networks for broadcast design, and this scorebug backs that up.
