The Baltimore Orioles officially released their 2026 City Connect jersey today, and after sitting with it for a bit, we are landing on a pretty lukewarm take. The "BMORE" design leans into the Camden Yards neighborhood and Baltimore culture, but as a full uniform package it just does not move the needle for us. The more we look at it, the less we like it. That is usually a bad sign.
The Jersey

We will give credit where it is due. The cream base with dark green sleeves keeps this uniform feeling more official and less like a novelty tee, which is a problem a lot of City Connects have. The monochrome approach is smart. The Oriole bird sitting on top of the "BMORE" wordmark is a nice touch and probably the strongest design element on the whole jersey. It is recognizable and it ties back to the franchise identity without being a straight copy of their regular logo.
But here is where we start to lose interest. When we think about this from a TV perspective, which is how most fans experience these uniforms, does it pop? Does it give you any kind of reaction? For us, it just kind of sits there. It does not excite us. If you saw the Orioles running out of the dugout in this jersey, we do not think it would make you stop and pay attention. That is a problem for a uniform that is supposed to celebrate the city.
The Details

The "From the Stoop to the Yard" sleeve patch with the 410 area code is a cool detail that Baltimore locals will appreciate. It tells a story and connects the jersey to the neighborhood around Camden Yards. We respect that level of thought in the design.

The brickyard pattern on the collar is another nod to the stadium and the Bmore warehouse aesthetic. It is a cool concept on paper, but in practice you can barely see it. On a broadcast you will never notice it. On a fan replica from 10 feet away, it disappears. If a design detail only works in a close-up photo shoot, we are not sure it counts.
The Stoop

The photo shoot leans hard into the Baltimore stoop culture and we get it. The inspiration from the stadium, the row houses, the 410 all make sense on paper. But inspiration only gets you so far. The final product has to stand on its own as a baseball uniform, and this one just does not give us a feeling. Some City Connects grow on you over time. We think this one is going in the other direction.
Final Verdict
The Orioles played it safe with the cream and green palette and we appreciate the monochrome approach, but the overall design lacks energy. We know they drew from Camden Yards and Baltimore culture, and the details are thoughtful. But when we ask ourselves the simple question of whether we would want to see this on the field, the answer is just kind of... fine. See where this lands in our Full 2026 City Connect Rankings.
