The 2026 Stanley Cup Final patch is placed on the right chest of the Carolina Hurricanes black home alternate sweater, directly above the NUCOR jersey sponsor patch. The Hurricanes have worn the black home alternate sweater for every single home game of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs across Round 1, Round 2, the Eastern Conference Final, and now Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Carolina has not worn the iconic red home sweater at any home playoff game in 2026 despite the red home being the team's heritage primary uniform.
