San Diego State unveiled the Age of the Jaguar uniform on Tuesday and wears it Saturday against James Madison, 7 p.m. Pacific at Snapdragon Stadium.

The helmet is black, with the Ocelotl jaguar glyph on one side and the player's number on the other. The jersey is red with black numerals and red-on-red sublimated Aztec artwork on the sleeves, over red pants. The school says it is the first time the program has worn a red jersey and red pants together.

The Rams wear the gold Classic Sol for the first time on Monday night against the Giants. It is a tribute to the 1951 NFL championship team: royal triple striping on the sleeves, block numbers, and white pants with a blue, gold, blue stripe down each leg.

It is also the first gold jersey the Rams have worn since the all-gold Color Rush set in 2015. They wear it twice this season, both in prime time, with the second date December 3 against the Chiefs on Thursday night.

Air Force wears its 2026 Air Power Legacy Series uniform against Navy on October 3, and it honors the B-21 Raider stealth bomber. Matte black head to toe, a dark camouflage helmet wrap with B-21 above the facemask, and chrome silver numerals.

The back plates read STRATEGIC DETERRENCE and POWER PROJECTION. The patches are Air Force Global Strike Command, the 412th Test Wing that flight tests the B-21 at Edwards, Air Force Materiel Command and the Colorado Air National Guard's 140th Wing. We graded it A-.

Vanderbilt revealed a gold uniform in August: gold helmet with the black and white center stripe, gold jersey, gold pants. For the Gold Out against Delaware on September 12, outlets reported the Commodores "went all gold."

They did not. The broadcast frames show the gold jersey worn with the white helmet and white pants, not the gold ones. The complete gold set from the reveal still has not been worn in a game.

It is a small thing, but it is the kind of small thing that ends up in every season recap as fact once one outlet writes it down. We check the frames.

Navy will wear a commemorative Under Armour uniform against Notre Dame on October 31 at Gillette Stadium, honoring the 100th anniversary of the 1926 national championship team, the only national title in program history.

The striping is the whole idea. The jersey is a modern take on the 1926 Chevron Stripe design and carries nine stripes, four on the front and five on the back, one for each win that 9-0-1 season. The numerals use the Class of 1926 pin typography, the collar reads "Navy Blue and Gold" after the alma mater first performed in April 1926, and an anniversary patch sits on the chest. The gold helmet and gold pants are unchanged.

Washington posted its Week 2 combination on Thursday: burgundy helmet, burgundy jersey, white pants and burgundy socks at AT&T Stadium on Sunday at 4:25 on FOX.

Dallas confirmed its side a day earlier, the Arctic White Color Rush head to toe, white socks included. So both sides of this one are locked in with no overlap, which is not something you can say about most games this week.

Colorado went to the purple alternate at Coors Field on Thursday afternoon, against a San Diego club in the khaki road uniform. It is one of the better color pairings left on the September calendar, and purple at home is a rarity this late in a season going nowhere.

Earlier in the day the Brewers wore the powder blue alternate at PNC Park, where Pittsburgh answered in the black Pittsburgh alternate.

Baltimore confirmed the full White Noise combination for Sunday against the Saints: white jersey, white pants and the metallic Purple Rising helmet. The team is also asking the crowd to wear white, so the whiteout is in the stands while the purple shell carries the field.

This is the detail worth knowing. White Noise is not a white helmet look, and it is not the road whites either. Baltimore is choosing white at home, which forces New Orleans into color.

Detroit goes white jersey and white pants under the silver helmet on Thursday night at Buffalo, the road look its own fans nicknamed the Marshmallows. The team listed it plainly: white jerseys, white pants, white socks.

The Bills counter in the blue primary with a 2026 inaugural season patch, for the first regular season game at the new Highmark Stadium. Buffalo also has red end zones, which Bills Mafia picked in a team poll.

White helmet with the tribal interlocking U's and a tribal center stripe, red jersey, red pants. Utah wears it once a year, in partnership with the Ute Tribe, and the helmet is the reason to watch.

It was one of twelve Week 3 combinations teams announced on Thursday, along with Miami in all white, Wake Forest in Dark Mode black and TCU in a new white helmet with a Frogs script.
