This is the running guide to what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wear in 2026, updated as the team confirms games. Two special uniforms already have dates on them, and they land two weeks apart in December.
Tampa Bay has not published a full week-by-week uniform schedule. Most NFL teams release theirs in pieces across the summer and into the season, so this page grows as the Buccaneers announce.
The Confirmed Dates
December 6 vs the Los Angeles Chargers — the creamsicle throwbacks. The white shell, Bucco Bruce on the side, and the orange the franchise wore from 1976 through 1996. We broke down that matchup in full when it was announced, including what the Chargers are wearing opposite it.
December 20 vs the New Orleans Saints — the all-pewter set. Head to toe, and the newest addition to the wardrobe. Kickoff is 1:00 PM.

The All-Pewter Uniform
Tampa Bay teased this most of the year and finally released it with photos and a date attached. It is a monochrome set rather than a jersey swap:
- A pewter jersey with a red "Buccaneers" wordmark across the chest.
- Red pirate ship logos on each shoulder, which is where the design lives or dies.
- Matching pewter pants with red and white stripes down the sides.
- Solid pewter socks, completing the head-to-toe look.
Pewter is a genuinely hard colour to build a uniform around. It is not quite gray and not quite brown, it goes muddy under stadium lights, and a full monochrome pewter look risks reading as one large smudge from the upper deck. Tampa Bay's answer was to put the red where the eye actually goes.
The shoulder ships do the heavy lifting. Shoulder caps are the highest-contrast real estate on a football uniform, because that is what a broadcast camera frames when a player is standing, and a red mark there breaks the pewter mass into parts. The chest wordmark does the same job from the front. Take both away and this uniform would be a problem.
The pant striping is the other save. Red and white down the outseam gives the leg a line, and on a monochrome set the leg is usually where the design gives up.
Why Both Dates Land in December
The two most distinctive looks Tampa Bay owns are two weeks apart, and that is not an accident.
The creamsicle is the warmest, brightest uniform in the NFL. The all-pewter is the darkest, coldest thing the franchise has. Running them inside a three-week window means both land in prime playoff-race weeks, and the pewter game is an NFC South matchup against New Orleans that is likely to matter in the standings.
What Is Still Unknown
Tampa Bay has not confirmed which jerseys it wears in any other week. Open questions we will fill in here as the team announces:
- The home opener uniform.
- Whether pewter appears more than once, or is a one-game alternate like the creamsicle.
- Pant combinations for the standard red and white jerseys.
- Any colour-rush or alternate helmet pairings beyond the creamsicle's white shell.
