Atlanta unveiled a new uniform set on April 2, 2026, and the headline change is that red is the primary home jersey again. That single decision reshapes what the Falcons look like this season. What has not been announced is a game-by-game plan, including for the 1966 throwback. Here is the full Atlanta Falcons 2026 uniform schedule, week by week.

The Full 2026 Falcons Uniform Schedule, Week by Week
Nine home games including Madrid, eight on the road, and a Week 11 bye.
No game on that grid is a confirmed uniform assignment. Atlanta has not published a 2026 uniform schedule. The grid follows the new standard rotation: red at home, white on the road.
The New 2026 Set
The redesign is a genuine correction rather than a refresh, and it fixes the main problem with the previous era, which was that Atlanta had drifted into wearing black as its default and looked like four other teams while doing it.
The home jersey is red with white numbers and white pants, and the FALCONS wordmark above the number is set smaller than in the previous set. The helmet keeps the low-gloss black shell but now pairs it with a silver facemask and a front bumper carrying the winged ATL secondary mark. The pants use striping drawn from the original 1966 design with a silver layer running through it.
Red is the right call. Atlanta is one of only a handful of clubs whose red is genuinely theirs, and a black-helmet-red-jersey combination is far more distinctive than the all-black look it replaces. The silver facemask is the detail that makes it work, because it separates the helmet from the jersey instead of letting the whole thing read as one dark mass.
The 1966 Throwback
Atlanta kept the 1966-inspired throwback: a red helmet, black jersey, white pants and tri-colour red, black and white socks. It is the only time the Falcons wear a red shell, and under the league's alternate-helmet rule it can appear in up to three games.
No 2026 date has been announced. If you want the read, Week 5 against Baltimore on Sunday night is the only standalone primetime home game on the calendar and the natural slot for it. That is a guess, not a report.
Atlanta Hosts the Madrid Game (Week 9)
The Falcons play Cincinnati at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, November 8, and Atlanta is the designated home team. That means the Falcons wear red and the Bengals wear white, and the game counts as one of Atlanta's nine home dates.
This one is worth stating because the Bengals' own schedule widget renders it as a home game for Cincinnati, which it is not. Our Bengals 2026 uniform schedule has their side of it.
Red at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (8 Games, Plus Madrid)
Weeks 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 17, plus Madrid in Week 9. Sunday night against Baltimore in Week 5 is the showcase, and the Week 17 game against New Orleans closes the home slate against the rival.
White on the Road (8 Games)
Weeks 1, 3, 4, 8, 12, 14, 15 and 18, including a Thursday nighter in Green Bay and a Monday nighter in New Orleans in consecutive weeks.
How the Falcons Rotation Works in 2026
- Red at home, white on the road. This is new for 2026; black is no longer the home default.
- Madrid is a home game. Red, and it counts toward the home slate.
- No throwback date announced. The 1966 set with the red helmet is capped at three games by rule.
- Pants and helmet combinations are a week-of call, as they are for every club.
The Bottom Line
This is the best Atlanta has looked in years, and it happened by subtraction. Going back to red as the primary, putting a silver facemask on the black shell and pulling the striping from 1966 undoes most of the drift of the last decade.
The open question is the throwback. A red helmet is a rare thing in this league and Atlanta has one sitting unassigned. Sunday night in Week 5 is the obvious place for it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What jersey are the Falcons wearing today?
Red if Atlanta is at home, white if they are on the road. Red became the primary home jersey with the 2026 redesign.
What jerseys are the Falcons wearing this week?
Same rule. Check whether Atlanta is home or away in the grid above. Home is red, away is white.
What uniform did the Falcons wear last week?
For the uniform we logged in their most recent game, see the NFL uniform tracker, which we update through the week.
What do the new 2026 Falcons uniforms look like?
A red home jersey with white numbers and white pants, a low-gloss black helmet with a silver facemask and a winged ATL front bumper, and pants striping drawn from the 1966 design with a silver layer. Unveiled April 2, 2026.
Are the Falcons still wearing black jerseys?
Not as the primary home uniform. Red took that slot in the 2026 redesign. The black jersey now appears as part of the 1966 throwback, which pairs it with a red helmet.
When do the Falcons wear the 1966 throwback in 2026?
No date has been announced. Week 5 against Baltimore on Sunday night is the only standalone primetime home game and the most plausible slot, but that is our read.
Are the Falcons the home team in Madrid?
Yes. Atlanta is the designated home team for the Week 9 game against Cincinnati at the Bernabéu on November 8, so the Falcons wear red and the Bengals wear white.
How many uniforms do the Falcons have in 2026?
Two with games assigned, the red home set and the white road set, plus the 1966 throwback with the red helmet, which has no date.
