The Full 2026 Lions Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

Only Week 8 is confirmed by the team. Everything else follows the standard rule: Honolulu blue at Ford Field, white on the road. Detroit also owns a black alternate and has used it in recent seasons, but no 2026 date has been announced for it, so it is not on the grid above.

The Rivalries Uniform (Week 8, November 1, Confirmed)

Detroit is in the 2026 class of the NFL x Nike Rivalries program, which is moving through the league division by division. The NFC North is up this year, and the Lions wear their set one time: Sunday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, at home against Minnesota.

This is the detail most schedule pages get wrong, so it is worth stating plainly. Detroit plays New England at Allianz Arena in Munich on Sunday, November 15, and the Lions are the designated home team. NFL.com lists the game as Patriots at Lions.

That matters for what you see on the field. Detroit wears Honolulu blue, New England wears white, and the Lions get the home designation despite being nearly four thousand miles from Ford Field. Several club schedule widgets show the game as "vs" for both teams, which is why it gets miscounted; the league's own listing is the tiebreaker.

It is also the only international game on Detroit's calendar, and it drops the Lions into the 9:30 a.m. Eastern window, which is the largest single-game audience the NFL produces outside primetime.

Thanksgiving (Week 12, vs the Bears)

Detroit hosts Chicago on Thursday, November 26, which is the game the franchise is known for more than any other. The Lions will be in Honolulu blue and the Bears in white, per our Bears 2026 uniform schedule.

There is no throwback announced for it. Detroit has worn a variety of alternates on Thanksgiving over the years, including the much-argued-about grey set, but nothing has been scheduled for 2026 and we are not putting one on the grid on a hunch.

Will the Lions Wear the Black Alternate in 2026?
