Green Bay has not published a game-by-game uniform schedule, so the grid follows the standard home-and-away rotation with one confirmed exception: Week 5 against the Bears is the Rivalries game, starred above. The design landed with the rest of the 2026 class on August 25, and it delivers on what Packers president Ed Policy promised: a uniform built around the club's fan ownership, wrapped in a vintage 1919 package. The jersey is a darker hunter green with cream and gold trim, the number font is modeled on the intricate lettering of paper currency, a nod to the fans whose money has kept the franchise alive, and the delicate striping throughout echoes the ornate borders on actual Packers stock certificates. The chest and the back of the helmet carry an interlocking GB logo, a modernized version of a classic mark that appeared on Vince Lombardi-era sideline and practice gear, predating the iconic G. The helmet is cream with the first matte finish in team history, paired with the first matte green face mask, "GO PACK GO" printed on the rear bumper, and "Making History since 1919" embroidered inside the collar. Our verdict: this is the best story in the 2026 class attached to a uniform you cannot read from your seat. Green Bay is the only fan-owned franchise in American professional sports, the stock certificates are real objects sitting in real living rooms across Wisconsin, and the design team turned that into currency-engraved numerals and hairline borders lifted from the certificate edges. On a detail card, it is superb. At broadcast distance, all of it disappears, and what is left on the field is a green jersey slightly darker than the green jersey Green Bay already wears.

Then there is what it costs to get there. The gold shell with the G is the most recognizable helmet in football and one of the most recognizable objects in American sport, and this set benches it for a cream lid carrying a mark the audience has never been taught. We like the interlocking GB a great deal, enough that it deserves a real future rather than one afternoon, but giving up that helmet has to buy something enormous. It buys a quieter version of the normal uniform.

The grade is not about restraint. Restraint is Green Bay's best quality and we would defend the regular home uniform against anything in the league. It is about a one-game showcase, on the league's oldest rivalry, in front of the largest audience Lambeau gets, that asks the most storied fan base in the sport to trade the gold helmet for a set whose ideas only exist in close-up.

Packers Fans Get Two Rivalries Looks This Year

Here is the wrinkle that makes Green Bay's 2026 unusual. Chicago has confirmed it will debut its own Rivalries uniform against the Packers on Christmas Day, which is Week 16 at Soldier Field, and our Bears 2026 uniform schedule has that side of it. So Green Bay is on the field for two different Rivalries debuts in the same season: their own at home, and Chicago's on the road on December 25. No other team has that on its calendar, and the comparison is not kind. We grade Chicago's set an A-, the best of the 2026 class, and Green Bay's an F. Same rivalry, same program, opposite results.

Minnesota's home schedule adds one more confirmed detail. The Vikings have announced they will wear their classic uniforms against the Packers, which is Green Bay's Week 1 trip to Minnesota on September 13. So the season opens with the Packers in road whites opposite a throwback.

Vintage Green (The Home Set)

The green jersey with gold pants is one of the two or three least-changed uniforms in American sport, and it carries the bulk of the home schedule: Atlanta on a Thursday in Week 3, Dallas in Week 6, Carolina on a Thursday in Week 8, Minnesota in Week 10, then Buffalo, Miami, Houston and Detroit down the stretch.

There is not much to say about it that has not been said. The dark green and gold combination is unmistakable, the numbers are legible, and the whole thing looks better in bad weather than almost anything else in the league, which is convenient given where it is worn in December.

Classic White (The Road Set)

White jersey, gold pants, for six of the eight road games. The two exceptions are both set by the home team: Week 2 at the Jets on September 20, where New York has confirmed its White Out game, and Week 12 at the Rams on November 25, where Los Angeles has confirmed the Fearsome White alternate. Two clubs cannot both wear white, so Green Bay wears the green jersey in both, which puts the home set on the road twice. Green Bay published its 2026 Uniform Lineup on September 4, and it settles a question this page had open. There are four uniforms, not three, and the club names them: 1923, Vintage Green, Classic White and Rivalries.

The 1923 Classic returns, which is the news. It is the navy and gold set with the tan leather-look helmet, worn in 2025 and carried into 2026 rather than retired, and it is the most distinctive thing in the closet by a distance. No date has been announced for it.

The other correction is that the all-white alternate does not appear in the 2026 lineup. Green Bay ran it the last two seasons and we had it listed here as a live possibility; the club's own graphic leaves it out. Treat it as gone for this year unless the Packers say otherwise.
