The Cowboys published their full 2026 uniform schedule on Wednesday, September 2, and it confirms the thing this page has argued from the start: Dallas is a white-jersey team. White goes ten times, at home by choice and on the road because the host almost always picks dark and leaves the visitor in white. The navy primary gets three road dates, each one a trip to a host that wears white at home. The all-white Color Rush goes three times, including a Monday night in Philadelphia. And the Thanksgiving Classic is official, Week 12 against the Eagles on November 26. Here is the whole schedule, game by game, with the seven dates that are not plain white marked.

The Confirmed Cowboys Uniform Schedule

Their Week 1 opponent: the New York Giants 2026 uniform schedule has the other side of this matchup, and the 2026 NFL uniform tracker logs what both teams actually wear once it is played.

Straight from the team, published September 2. These are the seven games where Dallas is not in the standard white jersey. Everything else on the calendar is white.

What the grid promises: all seventeen assignments are official, published by the Cowboys on September 2, so every cell carries the ★. Ten are the standard white jersey and seven are not: three navy, three Color Rush, one Classic. The team labels the two primaries as White and Navy and the alternates as Color Rush and Classic; we use the same names. The three navy dates are all trips to hosts that wear white at home, which is the only way the visiting Cowboys ever get to wear the dark jersey. Pants and sock combinations are not part of the announcement and remain a week-of-game call.

The White Set (10 Games, Confirmed)

The opener at the Giants on Sunday night is the standard version: silver helmet, white jersey, and the blue-tinted silver pants, the ones that read light blue under stadium lights and are the reason the Dallas road look has always been more blue than silver on a broadcast. No Color Rush, no all-white, just the uniform most people picture when they picture the Cowboys.

The white jersey with the metallic-silver-blue pants is the uniform Dallas has built its identity on, and it draws ten of the seventeen games. Six are at home: the Rio de Janeiro game against Baltimore in Week 3, which counts as a Dallas home date, the Thursday-night visit from Tampa Bay in Week 5, Arizona in Week 8, San Francisco in Week 10, Tennessee in Week 11, and the New Year's weekend date with the Giants in Week 17. Four are on the road: the Sunday-night opener at the Giants in Week 1, Lambeau in Week 6, a Monday night in Seattle in Week 13, and the finale at Washington in Week 18.

Those four road whites are not a choice so much as a consequence. The host picks first, the host almost always picks dark, and white is what is left for the visitor. The three road games where Dallas does not wear white are the three where the host is wearing white itself, which is covered below.

The white set is the better of the two primaries and it is not particularly close. The navy star on the white shell, the blue-and-white sleeve stripe, and the silver-blue pants make a combination nobody else in the league is running, and the fact that Dallas insists on wearing it at home means the good version is the one their own crowd sees.

The Navy Jersey (3 Games, All on the Road)

This is the part of the Dallas closet that gets misunderstood most often, and the 2026 schedule settles it. The navy jersey is labelled the road uniform, but Dallas wears it in only three of the nine road games, and each of the three is a trip to a host that wears white at home:

  • Week 4 at the Texans, Sunday, October 4. Houston is celebrating its 25th season at this game, and with Dallas confirmed in navy the Texans will be in white at home. Our Texans 2026 uniform schedule has the detail.
  • Week 9 at the Colts, Sunday, November 8. Indianapolis announced its all-white White Out for this game back in the summer, which is why Dallas is in navy. The Colts 2026 uniform schedule covers it.
  • Week 15 at the Rams, Sunday, December 20. Los Angeles published white at home for the Dallas game on its own schedule, and the Rams 2026 uniform schedule was the first place this navy date showed up.

The reason is the rule, not the wardrobe. The home team picks its jersey and the visitor takes the contrasting one. Nearly every host in the league picks its dark color, which puts Dallas in white. So the Cowboys wear white at home by choice and white on the road by consequence, and the navy only surfaces when a host chooses white. In 2025 that happened three times as well, at Detroit in early December and on Christmas Day at Washington among them.

As a uniform, the navy is the plainer of the two primaries. The silver-blue that makes the home whites distinctive gets swapped for a flatter silver, and the shoulder stripe loses most of its contrast against the darker base. There is an old superstition about the navy being unlucky for Dallas. We have no opinion on that, but scarcity is doing the jersey a favor.

The Arctic White Color Rush (3 Games, All-White)

The Cowboys call it Arctic White: that is the name on the team's Week 2 gameday graphic, which lists the alternate white helmet, alternate white jersey, alternate white pants and alternate white socks. It is the all-white Color Rush, the fan favorite of the Dallas wardrobe, and three dates is the most the team has given it in years. It is a different uniform from the standard whites, not just a pants swap: a white helmet with the current star and a white facemask, a white jersey with navy shoulders carrying the twin stars in the manner of the 1990s double-star jersey, navy block numbers, and white pants with two navy stripes down the side. Head to toe, it is the whitest uniform in the league.

  • Week 2 vs. the Commanders, Sunday, September 20. The home opener, at 4:25 Eastern, and the team's gameday graphic confirms Arctic White head to toe, white socks included. Washington confirmed its side on September 17, burgundy helmet, burgundy jersey, white pants and burgundy socks, so this is white against burgundy with no overlap. See our Commanders 2026 uniform schedule.
  • Week 7 at the Eagles, Monday, October 26. A Monday night in Philadelphia, and Dallas is in white, which means the Eagles are free to wear anything. Kelly Green has not been announced for this date, but a national-television home game against Dallas is exactly the kind of night Philadelphia picks for it. Our Eagles 2026 uniform schedule tracks it.
  • Week 16 vs. the Jaguars, Sunday, December 27. Sunday Night Football at AT&T Stadium in the last week of the calendar year, and the last of the three.

The Thanksgiving Classic (Week 12, Confirmed)

The best uniform Dallas owns comes out once a year, and the team has now confirmed the date. The 1960s throwback, which the club labels the Classic, pairs a white helmet with the navy jersey, oversized stars on the white shoulder yoke, solid block numbers, and white pants with twin navy stripes. The Cowboys wore it on Thanksgiving in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, and it is official for a fifth straight year: Week 12 against Philadelphia at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, November 26.

It is the marquee uniform game of the Dallas season. The white helmet is the whole trick: it removes the silver that anchors every other Cowboys look and leaves a cleaner, older, more graphic uniform underneath.

One popular hope for this game does not survive contact with the rules, so it is worth heading off. Because Dallas wears white at home, a visiting team is normally free to bring a colored jersey to AT&T Stadium, and Philadelphia used exactly that opening in 2025 to wear Kelly Green on a trip to Dallas, the first road wearing since the set returned. That will not happen on Thanksgiving. The 1960s throwback is a navy jersey, not a white one, so for this one date Dallas is the dark team and Philadelphia takes white. A Cowboys throwback against a Kelly Green Eagles is not a combination the league permits.

The Eagles have confirmed only one Kelly Green date so far, Week 9 against the Giants, and our Eagles 2026 uniform schedule has them in white for the Thanksgiving trip for exactly this reason. The green will have to come out on a week when Dallas is in white, and the Week 7 Monday-night game in Philadelphia, with Dallas in the Color Rush, is the obvious candidate.

The White Helmet

Dallas has one white helmet shell and it appears on four dates in 2026, in two guises. For the three Color Rush games it carries the current star and a white facemask. For the Thanksgiving Classic it switches to the vintage star and a gray facemask. The team swaps the decals between looks rather than carrying two separate helmets.

The one combination missing from the 2026 schedule is the one Dallas debuted on Christmas Day 2025 at Washington: the white helmet with the navy jersey and white pants, a pairing the franchise had never worn before. It was a one-off for a holiday road game, and with all three 2026 navy dates assigned as the standard navy look, it does not return this season unless the team changes a listing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What jersey are the Cowboys wearing today?

White in ten of the seventeen games, and the team has published the full list. The exceptions are navy at Houston in Week 4, at Indianapolis in Week 9 and at the Rams in Week 15; the all-white Color Rush against Washington in Week 2, at Philadelphia in Week 7 and against Jacksonville in Week 16; and the Thanksgiving Classic against the Eagles in Week 12. The week-by-week grid above has every date.

What jerseys are the Cowboys wearing this week?

Check the grid above: every week is assigned. If the week is not one of the seven marked with a ★, Dallas is in the standard white jersey, at home or on the road.

What uniform did the Cowboys wear last week?

For the uniform we logged in their most recent game, see the NFL uniform tracker, which we update through the week. The grid above is the season plan, and the tracker is the record of what actually went on the field.

What are the Cowboys wearing next week?

Find the week in the grid above. The team published all seventeen assignments on September 2, so the answer is no longer a projection.

What jerseys do the Cowboys have in 2026?

Four looks, and Dallas published all 17 assignments itself on September 2. The standard white set, silver helmet and white jersey over the blue-tinted silver pants, draws ten games, six at home and four on the road. The navy jersey gets three, all road trips to hosts that wear white at home: Week 4 at Houston, Week 9 at Indianapolis and Week 15 at the Rams. The Arctic White Color Rush is a separate uniform rather than a pants swap, a white helmet with the current star and a white facemask, a white jersey with navy shoulders carrying the twin stars, navy block numbers, and white pants with twin navy stripes, and it gets three dates, Week 2 against Washington, Week 7 at Philadelphia on Monday night and Week 16 against Jacksonville. The Thanksgiving Classic, the 1960s throwback that pairs the white helmet with the navy jersey and white pants, is official for a fifth straight year, Week 12 against the Eagles on Thursday, November 26. Dallas owns one white shell and swaps the decals, the current star for the Color Rush games and the vintage star with a gray facemask for Thanksgiving.

Why do the Cowboys wear white at home?

It is a Dallas tradition going back decades. Most NFL teams wear their colored jersey at home and white on the road, and the Cowboys do the opposite.

Do the Cowboys wear navy on the road?

Only when the host wears white. The home team picks its jersey first and nearly every host chooses its dark color, which puts the visiting Cowboys in white. In 2026 the navy comes out three times: at the Texans in Week 4, at the Colts in Week 9 for their White Out, and at the Rams in Week 15, where Los Angeles has published white at home. The other four road games are in white.

What are the Cowboys Arctic White uniforms?

Arctic White is the team's name for the all-white Color Rush set: the alternate white helmet with the star, a white jersey with navy twin-star shoulders and navy numbers, white pants and white socks. Dallas wears it first in Week 2 against the Commanders on Sunday, September 20.

When do the Cowboys wear the Color Rush in 2026?

Three times: Week 2 against the Commanders on Sunday, September 20; Week 7 at the Eagles on Monday, October 26; and Week 16 against the Jaguars on Sunday, December 27. It is the all-white set with the white helmet, navy shoulders and navy numbers.

When do the Cowboys wear the Thanksgiving throwback in 2026?

Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, November 26, confirmed by the team on September 2. It is the fifth straight Thanksgiving in the 1960s Classic.

What is the Cowboys Thanksgiving throwback uniform?

A 1960s-inspired set: white helmet, navy jersey with oversized stars on the white shoulder yoke, block numbers, and white pants with two navy stripes.

How many uniforms do the Cowboys have in 2026?

Four looks on the schedule: the white primary, the navy primary, the all-white Color Rush, and the Thanksgiving Classic. White does the overwhelming majority of the work at ten games.

Is the full Cowboys 2026 uniform schedule official?

Yes. Dallas published all seventeen assignments on September 2, 2026: white ten times, navy three, Color Rush three, and the Classic on Thanksgiving. Pants and socks are not part of the announcement, though the team's Week 2 gameday graphic confirms white pants and white socks with the Arctic White set against Washington.

Why do the Cowboys wear a red stripe on their helmets?

The red stripe is for Salute to Service, the NFL's tribute to the military. Dallas swaps red into its center helmet stripe for its Salute to Service game, a nod to the 1976 Bicentennial season, and has brought the look back every year since 2021. We will add the 2026 date once the Cowboys confirm which game gets it.
