Dallas Cowboys Jerseys 2026: Every Jersey Ranked, From the Thanksgiving Classic to the Navy Road Jersey

By ColorWay Sports Staff·
Track the Dallas CowboysNFL

Dallas is the rare NFL team that picks white at home, and its whole closet is built around that choice. The Cowboys published their jersey schedule 2026 in full on September 2, and it breaks down cleanly: the white set ten times, the navy jersey three times, the all-white Color Rush three times, and the 1960s Thanksgiving Classic once. That is four uniforms, and the gap between the best and the worst of them is bigger than most fans would guess.

Here is every Dallas Cowboys jersey and uniform for 2026, ranked worst to first and graded, with the helmet and pants each one pairs with and the weeks it is on the field.

4. Navy Jersey

ColorWay Sports Grade
B-

The navy jersey is the one we like least, and we said as much when we ranked Dallas fifth in our grades for every NFL uniform. The body is navy with white numbers trimmed in silver, and the sleeves carry gray and white stripes. It pairs with the silver helmet and the navy star, and with a flatter silver pant instead of the silver-blue pant that makes the white set special.

That swap is the problem. The silver-blue pant is the most distinctive piece Dallas owns, and the navy set trades it for a gray that matches nothing in particular. The sleeve stripe, which pops on the white jersey, loses most of its contrast against the dark base, so from the upper deck the uniform reads as a navy block with numbers. It is a competent dark jersey, and it looks like a lot of other competent dark jerseys, so it grades a B-.

When it is worn in 2026: three road games, all confirmed by the team, and each one is a trip to a host that wears white at home. Week 4 at the Texans on Sunday, October 4, Week 9 at the Colts on Sunday, November 8 for Indianapolis's White Out, and Week 15 at the Rams on Sunday, December 20. The white helmet with the navy jersey, the combination Dallas debuted on Christmas Day 2025 at Washington, is not on the 2026 schedule.

3. Color Rush (All-White)

ColorWay Sports Grade
B+

The Color Rush is a different uniform from the standard whites, not a pants swap. The jersey is white with navy shoulders carrying twin stars, borrowed from the 1990s double-star jersey, and navy block numbers. It pairs with a white helmet carrying the current star and a white facemask, and white pants with two navy stripes down the side. Head to toe, it is the whitest uniform in the league.

The navy shoulder yoke is what makes it work. It gives an all-white uniform a real graphic shape, a dark band across the top that reads from any seat, and the double stars are a better use of the logo than the small sleeve star on the primaries. It is a fan favorite for good reason.

It stops at a B+ because of what it gives up. The silver-blue pant is the best thing Dallas has, and the Color Rush drops it for plain white, while the white helmet takes away the silver shell that anchors every other Cowboys look. Everything below the shoulders is one value, and on a bright afternoon the uniform can wash out.

When it is worn in 2026: three games, all confirmed. Week 2 against the Commanders on Sunday, September 20, the home opener; Week 7 at the Eagles on Monday, October 26; and Week 16 against the Jaguars on Sunday, December 27, on Sunday Night Football.

2. White Home and Road

ColorWay Sports Grade
A-

This is the uniform Dallas built its identity on, and the one that carries the A- we gave the Cowboys in our league-wide ranking. The jersey is white with blue numbers and a blue-and-white sleeve stripe, and it pairs with the silver helmet and the metallic silver-blue pants that read almost light blue under stadium lights. That pant is our favorite in the NFL, and nobody else runs anything like it.

The trick is that the pant does not match anything else on the uniform, and that is the point. Most teams build a set where every piece agrees. Dallas puts a silver shell on top, a white jersey in the middle, and a blue-tinted metallic at the legs, and the result looks like no other team from a mile away.

We already have a Week 1 look at it. At MetLife on Sunday night, Dallas wore the silver helmet, white jersey and silver pants against the Giants' royal blue at home, and the matchup earned an A- on our NFL uniform tracker. New York won 28-20. It sits one spot below the top only because the Classic is a better-drawn uniform.

When it is worn in 2026: ten games, all confirmed. Six at home, in Weeks 3 (Ravens, in Rio de Janeiro as the designated home team), 5 (Buccaneers, Thursday night), 8 (Cardinals), 10 (49ers), 11 (Titans) and 17 (Giants). Four on the road, in Weeks 1 (at Giants, worn), 6 (at Packers), 13 (at Seahawks, Monday night) and 18 (at Commanders), because the host picks dark and leaves Dallas in white.

1. Thanksgiving Classic (1960s Throwback)

ColorWay Sports Grade
A

The best uniform Dallas owns comes out once a year. The Classic pairs a white helmet, carrying the vintage star and a gray facemask, with a navy jersey, oversized stars on a white shoulder yoke, solid block numbers, and white pants with twin navy stripes. The team swaps decals onto the same white shell it uses for the Color Rush rather than carrying a second helmet.

The white helmet is the whole trick. Every other Cowboys look is anchored by silver, and taking the silver away leaves a cleaner, older, more graphic uniform: three colors, big shapes, nothing fussy. The block numbers are easier to read than the modern set's, and the oversized stars do more with the logo than any sleeve patch could. It is the most complete design in the closet and it grades an A.

When it is worn in 2026: once, Week 12 against the Eagles at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, November 26, confirmed by the team. It is the fifth straight Thanksgiving in the Classic. Because it is a navy jersey, Dallas is the dark team for this one date and Philadelphia is in white, so there is no Kelly Green on Thanksgiving.

The Bottom Line on the Cowboys Jersey Rankings

Dallas gets the important thing right: the best everyday uniform it owns, the white jersey over silver-blue pants, is the one it wears ten times. The Thanksgiving Classic is an A and the best-drawn set in the closet, and the Color Rush is a B+ that earns its three dates with the double-star shoulders.

The weak link is the navy, a B- that throws away the silver-blue pant and the stripe contrast that make the white set special. Dallas only wears it when a host forces the issue, three times in 2026, and scarcity is doing that jersey a favor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What jerseys do the Cowboys have in 2026?

Four: the white jersey, the navy jersey, the all-white Color Rush, and the 1960s Thanksgiving Classic. The white set is worn ten times, the navy and Color Rush three times each, and the Classic once.

What is the best Cowboys jersey?

We rank the Thanksgiving Classic first with an A. The white helmet, navy jersey, oversized shoulder stars and block numbers make it the cleanest and most graphic uniform Dallas owns. The everyday white set with silver-blue pants is a close second at A-.

What jersey are the Cowboys wearing this week?

In Week 2, Dallas hosts the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, September 20, at 4:25 ET, in the all-white Color Rush: white helmet, white jersey with the navy twin-star shoulders, and white pants. The team has confirmed it. In Week 1 at the Giants, the Cowboys wore the silver helmet, white jersey and silver pants.

Do the Cowboys have a new jersey in 2026?

No. All four uniforms are returning sets, and the Classic is back on Thanksgiving for a fifth straight year. The one look from last season that is not on the 2026 schedule is the white helmet with the navy jersey, which Dallas wore for the first time on Christmas Day 2025 at Washington.

When do the Cowboys wear the Color Rush in 2026?

Three times: Week 2 against the Commanders on Sunday, September 20; Week 7 at the Eagles on Monday, October 26; and Week 16 against the Jaguars on Sunday, December 27.

When do the Cowboys wear the navy jersey in 2026?

Three times, all on the road: at the Texans on October 4, at the Colts on November 8 and at the Rams on December 20. Each of those hosts wears white at home, which is the only way the visiting Cowboys end up in navy.
