Three NFL games are on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, 2026, and a fourth follows on Black Friday. The best-dressed one is already set: Dallas wears its 1960s Classic throwback against Philadelphia for the fifth straight Thanksgiving, as published on the Cowboys' own uniform schedule. Detroit hosts Chicago in the early game, Buffalo hosts Kansas City at night, and Pittsburgh hosts Denver the next afternoon.
Every look below carries one of three labels, and we keep them separate:
- Confirmed: the team has announced the uniform for this game.
- Scheduled: the uniform is on the team's own published 2026 schedule.
- Expected: our projection, based on the team's usual home and road pattern and our schedule post for that team. It changes to Confirmed or Scheduled when the team posts it.
The 2026 Thanksgiving Schedule
| Game | Kickoff (ET) | TV | |---|---|---| | Bears at Lions | Thursday, Nov. 26, 1:00 p.m. | CBS | | Eagles at Cowboys | Thursday, Nov. 26, 4:30 p.m. | FOX | | Chiefs at Bills | Thursday, Nov. 26, 8:20 p.m. | NBC | | Broncos at Steelers (Black Friday) | Friday, Nov. 27, 3:00 p.m. | Prime Video |
Matchups, kickoff times and networks are from ESPN's NFL schedule.
Bears at Lions, 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS
Lions: Honolulu blue home jersey (Expected). Detroit hosts its Thanksgiving game every year, and our Lions 2026 uniform schedule has the blue home set for it, the standard silver helmet with the Honolulu blue jersey. The Lions have announced uniforms one game at a time this season, and nothing on their calendar points to a throwback or alternate for this date. Detroit has already used its new Rivalries Silver set (Week 8 against Minnesota) and the black alternate (Week 7 against Green Bay).
Bears: white road jersey (Expected). Chicago wears white on the road, and our Bears 2026 uniform schedule has the navy helmet and white jersey at Ford Field. The Bears' only confirmed 2026 date so far is the Rivalries debut on Christmas Day against Green Bay.
The last time these two met on Thanksgiving, in 2024, Detroit wore its all-blue combination and won 23-20.
Eagles at Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX
Cowboys: Thanksgiving Classic throwback (Scheduled). Dallas published all 17 of its 2026 uniform assignments on September 2, and Week 12 is the Classic, the 1960s throwback: a white helmet with the vintage star and a gray facemask, a navy jersey with stars on the white shoulder yoke and solid block numbers, and white pants with twin navy stripes. The Cowboys wore it on Thanksgiving in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Full details are in our Cowboys 2026 uniform schedule.
Eagles: white road jersey (Expected). Dallas usually wears white at home, which normally lets a visitor bring a colored jersey to AT&T Stadium; Philadelphia wore Kelly Green there in 2025. That option is closed this year because the Classic is a navy jersey, so the Eagles take white. Philadelphia confirmed its three 2026 alternate dates on September 4 (Kelly Green in Weeks 9 and 16, the black alternate in Week 15), and Thanksgiving is not one of them. Our Eagles 2026 uniform schedule has the midnight green helmet and white jersey for this game.
Chiefs at Bills, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC
Bills: royal blue primary (Scheduled). Buffalo published the jersey for every 2026 home game before the season, and Thanksgiving night against Kansas City is the blue primary: white helmet, royal blue jersey, white pants. See our Bills 2026 uniform schedule.
Chiefs: white road jersey (Expected). Kansas City has worn white on the road all season except at Miami, where the Dolphins wore white. Our Chiefs 2026 uniform schedule has the standard road set for Buffalo: red helmet, white jersey, red pants.
Black Friday: Broncos at Steelers, 3:00 p.m. ET on Prime Video
Steelers: 1933 throwback (Expected). Team president Art Rooney II has said the 1933 throwback and its matte gold helmet return in 2026, but Pittsburgh has not attached it to a date. Our Steelers 2026 uniform schedule puts it here: a standalone national window and the first Black Friday game in franchise history. The look is a gold jersey with black stripes, beige pants and the gold helmet, first worn on October 26, 2025 against Green Bay. If the throwback goes elsewhere, the standard black home set takes this game.
Broncos: Summit White (Scheduled). Denver published its jersey for all 17 games, and Week 12 at Pittsburgh is Summit White. The Broncos have paired it with the navy helmet and both white and navy pants this season; the pants come with the team's game-week post. See our Broncos 2026 uniform schedule.
Thanksgiving Uniform History, Briefly
- Dallas and the Classic. The 1960s throwback has been the Cowboys' Thanksgiving uniform every year since 2022, and 2026 makes five in a row.
- Detroit's mix. The Lions do not have one fixed Thanksgiving look. They wore their throwbacks (logo-free silver helmet, plain Honolulu blue jersey, silver pants) against Green Bay in 2023 and again in 2025, per WILX, and went all blue against the Bears in 2024. They also wore throwbacks often on the holiday in the 2000s.
- The Madden patch. Since 2023, players on Thanksgiving have worn a round shoulder patch of John Madden in a headset, a tribute to the Hall of Fame coach and broadcaster. It ran for the third straight year in 2025.
We will update this page as each team posts its game-week uniform, and the 2026 NFL uniform tracker logs what all eight teams actually wear.
