September 5 vs. Boise State. ★ Confirmed on the field: yellow helmet, green jersey, yellow pants. Oregon won 34-27. The season opener in Autzen is a green-and-yellow sandwich, the most Oregon of the Oregon looks, with the yellow shell and yellow pants bracketing the green jersey. Boise State answers in its white jersey with a blue helmet and blue pants, which puts blue and yellow across from each other on the field and settles the color question in a way most openers do not. Yellow helmets are a genuine choice here rather than a default, and pairing them with yellow pants is the loud version of the combination.

September 12 at Oklahoma State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: green helmet, white jersey, white pants, a road combination that reads as the cleanest thing Oregon owns, against a Stillwater crowd and an Oklahoma State side in orange jerseys over white pants under white helmets. Oklahoma State won 39-31, Oregon's first loss of the season.

Friday, September 18 vs. Portland State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: green helmet with the yellow wing, green jersey with yellow numbers, green pants, the all green look Oregon teased with three green circles and matched to the Wear Green fan theme in Autzen. Portland State wore white. Oregon won 84-0. A 10:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff, which is why some feeds list it on September 19.

September 26 at USC. ★ Confirmed by Oregon and from the game photos: Warp Speed, a silver helmet, white jersey and white pants, announced on September 23 as the game 4 combination. USC wore its usual home set, cardinal helmet, cardinal jersey and gold pants, so it was cardinal and gold against a silver shell over head-to-toe white at the Coliseum. Dante Moore was hurt in the second quarter, Dylan Raiola came on and went 19 of 25 for 289 yards and two touchdowns, Dierre Hill Jr. ran for two more, and Oregon won 41-27 to move to 3-1. October 10 vs. UCLA. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: the new Origin of Speed uniform, worn as announced. Dark Night Forest helmet, jersey and pants, with electric green numbers and the Green Strike speed streaks across the shoulders, revealed by Oregon and Nike on September 29. UCLA wore the gold helmet, white jersey and gold pants, and the gold and white against the near-black home set made it the best looking matchup of the afternoon. Our matchup grade: A+. The result did not match the look: No. 21 UCLA won 17-15 at Autzen, Oregon's second loss, and the Ducks are 3-2.
