Memphis Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Tigers Wear It

Memphis owns one of the deepest uniform closets in the American Conference and a brand new logo on the chest. This is the full Memphis 2026 uniform schedule: the blue home jersey, the white road set, the gray pants that showed up in Boise, the FedEx patch that is now on every Tigers jersey, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games. Six games are already confirmed. We update this page as each combination is locked in.

The Memphis 2026 Uniform Sets

Start with what is new, because it is on every jersey Memphis will wear this year. In April the school and FedEx announced a department wide jersey patch deal, and the shipping company's logo now sits on the left chest of all 19 Tigers programs beginning with the 2026-27 athletics year. You can see it above the American Conference patch in every game photo from this season, which makes Memphis one of the small but growing group of college programs carrying a corporate mark on the front of the jersey.

Everything else is Nike, and the closet behind those four cards is genuinely deep. Memphis has been one of the busiest uniform programs in the sport for a decade, with blue, white, gray, black and a light blue set all appearing in recent seasons, and pants in white, blue, gray and black. Last year the Tigers changed something almost every week. This year, under first-year head coach Charles Huff, the first three games were noticeably more conservative: one helmet, no alternates, and a rotation that stuck to blue, white and gray. Then came a blue helmet against UT Martin and a new black striped helmet at Charlotte.

The Full Memphis 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

August 29 at UNLV. ★ Confirmed: white helmet, white jersey, white pants, the full whiteout, in a Week 0 trip to Allegiant Stadium on FOX. Memphis announced the combination the day before under the tagline "Clean Cut" and won 27-21. It was the football team's first game wearing the FedEx patch. More: UNLV uniform schedule.

September 5 vs. Arkansas State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, blue jersey, white pants, the home opener at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium on ESPN+. Memphis won 42-24 and the blue jersey with white pants is the combination we expect to be the season's default at home.

September 12 at Boise State. ★ Confirmed: white helmet, white jersey, gray pants, the first gray of the season, on the blue turf at Albertsons Stadium. Boise State debuted its hand-painted 40th anniversary helmet with blue over blue and won 38-20. One correction worth making: the Memphis helmet that afternoon was the same white shell the Tigers have worn all year, not a gray one. You can see what the Broncos are wearing week to week on our Boise State 2026 uniform schedule.

September 19 vs. UT Martin. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: blue helmet, blue jersey, white pants, the home default rather than anything saved for the occasion. A 6 p.m. Central home date on ESPN+ against an FCS opponent, and UT Martin came in white over navy. Memphis won 45-21.

September 26. Bye.

October 3 at Charlotte. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: black helmet with blue tiger stripes, white jersey, black pants for the American Conference opener at Jerry Richardson Stadium. White was expected; the striped helmet and black pants are new looks for 2026. Charlotte wore the white helmet, green jersey and white pants. Marcus Stokes threw for 318 yards and a career-high five touchdowns, and Memphis won 59-8 to move to 4-1.

October 10 vs. UAB. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: blue helmet, blue jersey, blue pants, all blue. Blue was expected; the blue pants were the change from the white pants Memphis wore at home against UT Martin. UAB wore the gold helmet, white jersey and gold pants. UAB led 13-10 at halftime, then Memphis scored the last 28 points to win 38-13 and move to 5-1. More: UAB uniform schedule.

October 16 at Tulane. ★ Confirmed by the team: blue helmet with the tiger stripe, white jersey with tiger-striped sleeves, blue pants. A Friday night conference game at Yulman Stadium on ESPN, 6:30 p.m. Central, and the most interesting uniform matchup on the Memphis schedule because of who is on the other side. Tulane goes green helmet, green jersey and white pants, as posted. Every Week 7 look is in our Week 7 uniform guide, and the Green Wave side is on the Tulane uniform schedule.

October 22 vs. East Carolina. Blue expected. A Thursday night home game on ESPN2, 6:30 p.m. Central, and midweek national television is exactly the window a program uses for an alternate. More: East Carolina uniform schedule.

October 31 vs. Army. Blue expected. Halloween at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium with kickoff to be announced. Memphis wore a black alternate last season, and a Halloween home game is the most obvious date on the board for it. Army is expected in white, which you can confirm on our Army 2026 uniform schedule.

November 7. Bye.

November 12 at South Florida. White expected. A Thursday night trip to Raymond James Stadium, 7 p.m. Central.

November 21 at Navy. White expected. An 11 a.m. Central kickoff in Annapolis, and Navy is the home team in navy and gold, so Memphis in white is close to locked. Our Navy 2026 uniform schedule has the Midshipmen side of it.

November 27 or 28 vs. Temple. Blue expected. Senior Day and the regular season finale, and the date genuinely is not set yet: Memphis lists it as November 27 or 28 while the conference sorts out the Thanksgiving weekend windows. We will lock the cell once the designation comes down.

What Memphis Has in the Closet That We Have Not Seen Yet

The Tigers started 2026 with restraint, then let go: a blue helmet showed up on September 19, and on October 3 against Charlotte they debuted a new black helmet with blue tiger stripes over the white jersey and black pants. That is more like Memphis. For context, last season the program went through gray jerseys, blue jerseys, white jerseys, a black alternate and a light blue set with black pants, plus gray, white, blue and black helmet shells along the way.

The pieces most likely to surface in the back half of this schedule are the gray jersey, which Memphis refreshed in 2025 with a new MEMPHIS wordmark outlined in white, and the black alternate, which came out in November last season. The light blue set is the wild card. It is the loudest thing in the closet and it turned up under the lights at home last November.

Nothing has been announced. Memphis has not put out a 2026 alternate reveal, so every unstarred cell in the grid is a color expectation rather than a confirmed combination, and we will star them one at a time.

The Bottom Line

Memphis is an easy program to predict at the color level and a hard one to predict past that. Blue at home, white on the road, and the pants are where the variety lives: white in Week 0 and the home opener, gray in Boise, black at Charlotte. The helmet has moved too: white for the first three games, blue against UT Martin, and the new black shell with blue tiger stripes at Charlotte. The real questions are whether the black set gets Halloween against Army, whether the Thursday night game against East Carolina gets something, and whether anything at all gets revealed before the Temple finale. The grid above has every date with the expected set, and we add a star as each uniform is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What jersey is Memphis wearing this week?

Memphis wore all blue against UAB at home on Saturday, October 10: blue helmet, blue jersey and blue pants, confirmed from the broadcast, in a 38-13 win that moved the Tigers to 5-1. The week before, they wore a new black helmet with blue tiger stripes, the white jersey and black pants at Charlotte. Next is Tulane on the road on Friday, October 16, where Memphis wears a blue helmet with the tiger stripe, a white jersey with tiger-striped sleeves and blue pants, confirmed by the team. The week-by-week grid above lists every game with the expected uniform, and we update it as combinations are confirmed.

What are Memphis's football uniforms for 2026?

A blue home jersey with a white MEMPHIS wordmark and tiger-striped shoulders, a white road jersey with blue lettering and tiger-striped numerals, and pants in white, gray, blue and black. The helmet in the first three games was a white shell with a blue tiger claw on each side and a blue UofM mark on the front bumper; a blue helmet followed against UT Martin, and a black helmet with blue tiger stripes at Charlotte. All of it is Nike, and every jersey now carries a FedEx patch on the left chest.

Why is there a FedEx logo on the Memphis jersey?

FedEx and Memphis Athletics announced a department wide jersey patch sponsorship in April 2026. The patch appears on the uniforms of all 19 Memphis programs starting with the 2026-27 athletics year, and football is the first sport wearing it. FedEx is headquartered in Memphis and has been a university partner for years.

Does Memphis have a black uniform in 2026?

Memphis has a black jersey and black pants in the closet and wore the black set last season, but nothing has been announced for 2026 and the Tigers have not worn the black jersey yet. Black did show up at Charlotte on October 3, in the new striped helmet and black pants with the white jersey. The Halloween home game against Army on October 31 is the date we would watch first.

When does Memphis play Temple?

November 27 or November 28, at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Memphis lists the game with both dates because the Thanksgiving weekend television window has not been assigned yet. Every other date on the 2026 schedule is set.

How many games does Memphis play in 2026?

Twelve regular season games: six at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and six on the road, with byes on September 26 and November 7. The American Conference Championship Game on December 5 would be a thirteenth if the Tigers qualify. The full schedule with expected uniforms is in the grid above.
