The UCF 2026 Uniform Sets

September 3 vs. Bethune-Cookman. ★ Confirmed: gold helmet, black jersey, black pants, the Thursday night opener at the Acrisure Bounce House. The gold shell with the stacked UCF in black is the loudest helmet in the closet and UCF used it first. The Knights won 73-6.

September 12 at Pittsburgh. ★ Confirmed: white helmet, white jersey, white pants, the full Lightmode set in the rain at Acrisure Stadium against a Pitt team in blue. Lightmode exists because the Knightmode reaction was so strong that the staff went looking for a road version, and the reveal pulled roughly half a million views when it first ran. This one did not go UCF's way. Pitt won 12-7, the Knights' only loss so far.

September 19 vs. Georgia State. Knightmode, announced. UCF teased it Wednesday night with a single frame of a black helmet on a throne of swords.

Then the equipment staff posted the combination on Thursday afternoon: black helmet, black jersey, black pants, gold stacked UCF on the shell, gold numbers, gold ORLANDO bumper.

The football account followed with the full shoot, sword and all.

Kickoff is 7 p.m. Eastern on Family Weekend, Georgia State is the visitor and will be in white, so this is as clean a black-on-white matchup as the schedule offers. We star the cell once we see it on the field.

September 26 vs. TCU. Black expected. The Big 12 home opener at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on FS1, with TCU in white as the visitor. UCF has three shells to choose from and has already used two, so the helmet is the open question here, not the jersey.

October 3 at Houston. White expected. Houston has already told everyone it is wearing its light blue Houston Blue alternate for this one, which makes the visitor's white jersey a lock under Big 12 convention.

October 24 vs. BYU. Black expected. Homecoming at the Bounce House against a ranked BYU team. Homecoming is a natural slot for something extra, but UCF has already committed its one true alternate to the following week, so we would expect a helmet or pants twist rather than a new jersey. October 30 vs. Baylor. Space Game. This is the tenth annual Space Game and the biggest uniform date on the calendar, moved to a Friday night by the Big 12 for the second straight season, 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN. The 2025 version was called HyperSpace, built around a carbon fiber helmet and a center stripe that shifted from Canaveral blue to pink to mimic shock diamonds off a rocket nozzle.
