White over blue pants is the Broncos' standard road look, and against the Ducks in yellow helmets, green jerseys and yellow pants it made for one of the loudest color matchups of opening weekend. September 12 vs. Memphis. ★ Confirmed: the 40th anniversary helmet, blue jersey, blue pants. Boise State won 38-20 in the home opener at Albertsons Stadium. The program announced the hand-painted helmet for this game, and a frame from the game shows it on the field: the Idaho bronco on the left side, the 40 on the right, "EST. 1986" across the back bumper. The same night debuted the seventh version of The Blue, with orange sideline hashes at the 2 and 11-yard lines for Ashton Jeanty and Kellen Moore. Memphis came in white jerseys and gray pants under their white helmet with the blue tiger claw, the same shell they have worn in every game this season.

The school asked fans to wear white for this one, a crowd call rather than a team announcement, and the Broncos stayed in blue rather than following the stands. October 3 vs. Utah State, Albertsons Stadium, 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. ★ Confirmed by Boise State: blue helmet, blue jersey, blue pants. All blue on The Blue for the Pac-12 home opener, the full home look we have been waiting on since the Memphis game, this time with the standard blue shell instead of the 40th anniversary helmet. Fans are asked to stripe the stadium in blue and orange. Utah State has confirmed all white with its throwback Jumpin' Cow logo on the white helmet, so it is blue on blue against white. October 24 at Washington State. White expected, against Washington State's crimson at Martin Stadium in Pullman.

October 31 vs. Texas State. Blue expected. Halloween night, and the school's fan call for this game is black. Boise State has worn black pants before, so this is the home date we are watching most closely for an alternate.

November 21 vs. San Diego State. Blue expected. The final home game and the end of Pac-12 conference play.

November 28, flex game. White expected. The regular season ends on the road against a Pac-12 opponent, Colorado State, Fresno State, Utah State or Washington State, set by the conference no later than six days before kickoff. The game counts as nonconference. Utah State's own home schedule graphic already lists Boise State for the date, a rematch of the October 3 game in Boise played in Logan, but the conference has not announced any flex pairings yet.
