Georgia Tech Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Yellow Jackets Wear It

Georgia Tech changed brands this summer, and the wardrobe changed with it. This is the full Georgia Tech 2026 uniform schedule: the new Under Armour gold and white sets, the gold and white helmets, the three pant colors, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Georgia Tech 2026 Uniform Sets

The 2026 set is the first from Under Armour, whose ten-year deal with Georgia Tech started on July 1 after the adidas era ended. White and Tech gold stay as the primary colors and navy drops back to trim: the numeral outlines, the partial stripe on the pants, the accents in the shoulder striping. That striping and the leg stripe are drawn from the Kessler Campanile on campus, which is the one detail on the uniform that reads as Georgia Tech rather than generic. The dark grey pants are the wild card, described by the school as a nod to industry and technology. Dark pants finally appeared against Mercer on September 19, and they read black rather than grey on the broadcast, so we cannot say for certain whether that is the grey pair or a separate black one. ACC home teams wear color and visitors wear white, so gold in Atlanta and white on the road is the baseline for every date below.

The Full Georgia Tech 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 3 vs. Colorado. ★ Confirmed: all white, white helmet, white jersey, white pants, for the Under Armour debut on a Thursday night in Atlanta. The school billed it as a whiteout and asked the crowd to match. The jersey was a one-off too: a 30th Anniversary Edition with the interlocking GT on the chest instead of the wordmark and Under Armour's original 1996 logo, marking thirty years since Georgia Tech became the first college program to buy from the brand. A home team opening in white is unusual, and this one came with a reason. Colorado won 14-13.

September 12 vs. Tennessee. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: gold helmet, gold jersey, white pants, the combination the program announced two days before kickoff and the first time the gold shell and the gold jersey were worn together in the new set. Tennessee came to Bobby Dodd in white helmet, white jersey, white pants, the debut of the Vols' adidas road set, which gave the night a proper gold against white look after the all-white opener. Full Tennessee detail on the Tennessee 2026 uniform schedule. Tennessee won 45-24.

September 19 vs. Mercer. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: gold helmet, gold jersey, black pants, the first time Georgia Tech has gone dark on the legs this season after white pants in each of the first two games. Mercer answered in white. Georgia Tech won 44-11 in the noon kickoff against the in-state FCS visitor.

September 26 at Stanford. ★ Confirmed by Georgia Tech as "White & Gold in CA" and from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, gold pants, for the program's first trip to Stanford. Stanford wore a white helmet, cardinal jersey and white pants. Georgia Tech led 20-10 in the third quarter behind two Trelain Maddox touchdowns and 107 rushing yards from Justice Haynes, but Stanford scored 24 straight and won 34-27, and the Yellow Jackets fell to 1-3.

October 3. Bye.

October 10 vs. Duke. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet with gold stripes, white jersey, black pants. Gold had been expected at home, and Georgia Tech went with white at Bobby Dodd Stadium instead. Duke, the defending ACC champion, came in all black with royal blue trim, black helmet, black jersey and black pants; the Blue Devils' side is on the Duke 2026 uniform schedule. Georgia Tech led 14-10 at halftime and won 28-25, handing Duke its first loss and moving to 2-3.

October 17 at Virginia Tech. White expected. Lane Stadium.

October 24 vs. Boston College. Gold expected.

October 31 at Pitt. White expected. Halloween in Pittsburgh.

November 7 vs. Louisville. Gold expected.

November 14 at Clemson. White expected. Death Valley, and the biggest road stage in the conference.

November 21 vs. Wake Forest. Gold expected. The last home game of the season.

November 28 at Georgia. White expected. Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate in Athens, with Georgia Tech in white and Georgia in red. What the Bulldogs wear that day is on the Georgia 2026 uniform schedule.

The Bottom Line

Five games in, Georgia Tech has shown most of the new Under Armour wardrobe: the all-white anniversary look against Colorado, gold over white pants against Tennessee, gold over black pants against Mercer, white over gold pants at Stanford, and white over black pants at home against Duke. White at Bobby Dodd twice means the gold-at-home baseline is a guide, not a rule. We will mark each combination on the grid as it is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Georgia Tech's uniforms for 2026?

A Tech gold jersey with white numerals trimmed in metallic gold and navy, and a white jersey with metallic gold numerals trimmed in navy, both with Georgia Tech across the chest and shoulder striping drawn from the Kessler Campanile. Gold, white or dark grey pants, and a gold or white helmet with the interlocking GT. They are the first uniforms of the Under Armour partnership, which began July 1, 2026.

Does Georgia Tech have a navy or throwback uniform in 2026?

No navy jersey is in the 2026 Under Armour set and no throwback has been announced. Navy appears only as trim on the numerals, striping and pants. What did Georgia Tech wear against Colorado?

All white: white helmet, white jersey, white pants, for the season-opening whiteout on September 3. The jersey was a 30th Anniversary Edition with the GT logo on the chest and Under Armour's original 1996 logo.

Why does Georgia Tech wear white at home?

Georgia Tech opened 2026 in all white at Bobby Dodd Stadium on September 3 against Colorado because the game was a Whiteout, a program tradition that began with a Thursday night win over Miami in 2008, with the crowd asked to wear white too. The jersey was a 30th Anniversary Edition marking thirty years since Georgia Tech became the first college program to buy from Under Armour. Georgia Tech wore white at home again on October 10 against Duke, white helmet, white jersey and black pants, when gold had been expected. Gold is expected for the remaining home dates on the grid above.

How many games does Georgia Tech play in 2026?

Twelve regular season games, seven of them at Bobby Dodd Stadium, with a bye on October 3. The full schedule with expected uniforms is in the grid above.
