Coastal Carolina Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Chanticleers Wear It

Coastal Carolina went all teal on the road at West Virginia and all white at home against Fordham, which tells you the Chanticleers do not follow the usual home and road script. This is the full Coastal Carolina 2026 uniform schedule: the teal set, the white set, the helmets, the Teal Out and Black Out dates on the home calendar, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games, including a Thursday night against Liberty and a Friday night against App State. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Coastal Carolina 2026 Uniform Sets

Under Armour outfits Coastal, and the whole closet is built around teal, bronze and black. The part that makes Coastal fun is the teal. Plenty of programs have a signature color, but very few wear it on the road, and Coastal opened 2026 by taking the full teal set into a White Out at Milan Puskar Stadium. With West Virginia in white from helmet to cleats, it was one of the best looking color matchups of opening weekend.

The Full Coastal Carolina 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 5 at West Virginia. ★ Confirmed from the team's own reveal and game-day graphics: teal helmet, teal jersey, teal pants, a full teal set on the road against West Virginia's all white "All White for 5" look, the day the Mountaineers retired Pat White's number. Quarterback Deuce Bailey threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns and was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week, but West Virginia won 31-24. We track the other side on our West Virginia 2026 uniform schedule.

September 12 vs. Fordham. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast and team photography: white helmet, white jersey, white pants, all white at home to match the White Out and Beach Bash in the stands at Brooks Stadium. Coastal won 45-7 for head coach Ryan Beard's first victory, with Bailey throwing three more touchdown passes.

September 19 at Delaware. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: teal helmet, white jersey, teal pants, exactly the combination Coastal posted on Thursday as "Teal, white, teal." Delaware met them in blue jerseys over gold pants, which is a harder matchup for a teal-trimmed white jersey than the all white West Virginia look was. Coastal lost 22-14 at Delaware Stadium in an 11:30 a.m. Eastern kickoff on CBS Sports Network.

September 24 vs. Liberty. ★ Confirmed from team photography: teal helmet, teal jersey with black side panels, teal pants, all teal for the Teal Out on the teal turf at Brooks Stadium. Coastal led at halftime and lost 34-17 to fall to 1-3. Liberty wore all white, and we cover the visitors on our Liberty 2026 uniform schedule.

October 3 vs. Georgia Southern. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, teal jersey, white pants for the Sun Belt opener, which doubled as Family Weekend and Hall of Fame weekend in Conway. Georgia Southern wore a navy helmet, white jersey and navy pants. Georgia Southern won 31-24, and Coastal fell to 1-4.

October 10 at Marshall. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: black helmet, white jersey, black pants, the white road jersey as expected, with black up top and below for Marshall's We Are Herd Strong cancer awareness game, 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Marshall wore the white helmet with the green M, green jersey and white pants. Coastal led 13-0 at halftime and 27-7 after three quarters, held on after Marshall scored 14 in the fourth, and won 27-21 to get to 2-4. More on our Marshall 2026 uniform schedule.

October 16 vs. App State, Friday, 8 p.m. Eastern on ESPN2. ★ Confirmed by Coastal: the limited edition '90s uniform. This is Coastal's annual "Wait 'Til You See This" game, and the school says the set was inspired by 1990s TV, naming Saved By The Bell, Boy Meets World, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends. In the team's photos it is a white jersey with COASTAL in a teal graffiti script, teal numbers outlined in pink sitting on a hot pink triangle, and confetti, squiggles and triangles in pink, purple, lime and orange all over the front and back. It goes with the teal helmet and teal pants, with "Chants" in script on the back bumper. Coastal is selling game-worn jerseys after the game, and fans were asked to dress for the decade. It is a tribute to the decade, not a throwback: Coastal played its first football season in 2003 and moved up to FBS in 2017, so there is no '90s Coastal uniform to throw back to. App State has posted black helmet, black jersey and gold pants; see our App State 2026 uniform schedule. Every Week 7 look is in our Week 7 uniform guide.

October 24. Bye. Coastal's only open Saturday.

October 31 at Georgia State. White expected. Halloween in Atlanta at Center Parc Stadium.

November 7 vs. Old Dominion. Black expected. Homecoming and a stadium-wide Black Out, which is the one home date where the teal jersey could sit.

November 14 vs. Arkansas State. Teal expected. Senior Day and Salute to Service, the final home game of the season.

November 21 at Louisiana. White expected. A trip to Lafayette and Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium.

November 28 at James Madison. White expected. The regular season ends in Harrisonburg against the Dukes in purple. See our James Madison 2026 uniform schedule.

Why Coastal Carolina Wears Teal on the Road

Most college teams treat the colored jersey as a home jersey and the white as a road jersey, and the home team usually gets first choice. Coastal flips that whenever it can, because teal is the brand. Almost nobody else in FBS is built around teal, the field at Brooks Stadium is teal, and a teal jersey against a white home team is instantly recognizable on television. The opener at West Virginia is the model: the home side went all white for its own reasons, which cleared the way for Coastal to go all teal. Any road game where the home team picks a dark jersey pushes Coastal back to white, which is why the rest of the road schedule is marked white above.

The Bottom Line

Six games in, Coastal is 2-4 and has rarely repeated itself: all teal at West Virginia and again for the Teal Out against Liberty, all white at home against Fordham, teal, white and teal at Delaware, a white helmet over the teal jersey against Georgia Southern, and a black helmet and black pants with the white jersey in a 27-21 win at Marshall. Teal is the default in Conway, but the home calendar is stacked with themes, and after the Teal Out come "Wait 'Til You See This Game" against App State, where Coastal is wearing a '90s uniform, and a Black Out for Homecoming against Old Dominion. October 16 and November 7 are the two dates we would circle. The grid above has every game with the expected set, and we add a star as each uniform is confirmed.
