November 6 vs. South Florida. Purple or black. A Friday night at 7:30 on ESPN2 that ECU has tagged as Paint It Black, Night of the Boneyard and Military Appreciation Day. When the crowd is told to wear black for a Boneyard night, the team has usually followed, so this is the date we would bet on for the black set. It is not confirmed. The American sells weeknight games to ESPN, and ECU carries three of them in 2026: at UAB on Thursday, October 15, at Memphis on Thursday, October 22, and home against South Florida on Friday, November 6.
