UTSA Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Roadrunners Wear It

UTSA just put up 59 points in a helmet covered in Fiesta confetti, and that was only the fourth game of the season. This is the full UTSA 2026 uniform schedule: the navy home set, the white road set, the white helmet the Roadrunners have taken on every road trip, the Hispanic Heritage helmet, every game played so far and the expected look for the rest of the year, starting with the American Conference opener at Rice on October 3. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The UTSA 2026 Uniform Sets

UTSA is in its second season with Nike. The Roadrunners wore Adidas from 2013 through 2025 and moved to Nike and Game One under a six-year partnership that started in June 2025, so the jerseys and the 210 helmet are all Nike product now.

The piece that got national attention this season is the helmet UTSA wore for its annual Hispanic Heritage Game against Colorado State on September 26. ESPN picked it for its best uniforms of the week and called out the City Connect-style idea: standard navy jersey and white pants below, but a white helmet splashed with Fiesta confetti, a multicolored center stripe, the 210 area code on the front and San Antonio on one side. UTSA revealed it earlier that week.

The Full UTSA 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 5 vs. UTRGV. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: navy helmet with the 210 bumper, navy jersey, navy pants, all navy to match the Navy Out theme for the opener at the Alamodome. UTSA won 45-16.

September 12 at Texas State. ★ Confirmed from Texas State's game photography, dated to the day of the game, and the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, white pants, all white for the I-35 Showdown in San Marcos. Texas State wore the gold helmet, maroon jersey and gold pants. UTSA trailed 17-7 at halftime, scored 24 points after the break and won 31-26. Our Texas State 2026 uniform schedule has the Bobcats side.

September 19 at Texas. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, navy pants, the same helmet and jersey as the week before with navy swapped in below the belt. Texas wore its only home look, the white Longhorn helmet, burnt orange jersey and white pants, and won 30-6. More on our Texas 2026 uniform schedule.

September 26 vs. Colorado State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: the Hispanic Heritage Fiesta helmet, navy jersey, white pants. Colorado State wore the green helmet, white jersey and green pants. The game turned into a shootout, UTSA scored 17 in the fourth quarter and won 59-45 to finish non-conference play 3-1. See our Colorado State 2026 uniform schedule for the Rams.

October 3 at Rice. White expected. The American Conference opener at Rice Stadium, 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+. UTSA has worn the white helmet in both road games, and Rice is expected in its new Nike blue. Our Rice 2026 uniform schedule has the Owls side.

October 8 vs. South Florida. Navy expected, with a caveat. A Thursday night at the Alamodome on ESPN, 7:30 p.m. Eastern, and UTSA's game theme is Lights Out. A national weeknight window and a lights-out theme is exactly the spot a program saves a special look for, so this is the home date we are watching hardest. Nothing has been announced. USF should be in white; see our South Florida 2026 uniform schedule.

October 17 vs. Navy. Navy expected. UTSA's Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans game, presented by USAA, and a service academy opponent on the same day. Military appreciation games are a common place for a special helmet or decal. Our Navy 2026 uniform schedule has the Midshipmen.

October 24 at Tulane. White expected. Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, kickoff time still to be set. See our Tulane 2026 uniform schedule.

October 31. Bye.

November 5 at Florida Atlantic. White expected. A Thursday night in Boca Raton, 8 p.m. Eastern.

November 14 vs. North Texas. Navy expected. Homecoming at the Alamodome. North Texas should be in white; our North Texas 2026 uniform schedule has the Mean Green.

November 21 at UAB. White expected. Protective Stadium in Birmingham, kickoff time still to be set.

November 27 or 28 vs. Tulsa. Navy expected. Senior Day, with the exact date still to be set by the conference. More on our Tulsa 2026 uniform schedule.

Will the Fiesta Helmet Come Back?

Nothing says it will. UTSA built the helmet for its annual Hispanic Heritage Game and has not attached it to any other date. What the season has shown is a clear system everywhere else: the navy 210 helmet at home, the white helmet on the road, and the jersey and pants mixed from there. If UTSA has one more special look in the closet this fall, the Thursday night Lights Out game against South Florida on October 8 and the Salute to Armed Forces game against Navy on October 17 are the two dates that fit.

The Bottom Line

Four games in, UTSA has worn four different combinations and one genuinely great helmet. The Fiesta shell worked because it was about San Antonio, not about a trend, with the 210 and the city's name carrying the idea and the uniform below staying clean. The rest of the closet runs on a simple rule, navy helmet at home and white helmet away, and the only open questions are which pants go with the white jersey and whether the Lights Out night brings something new. The grid above has every date, and we add a star as each uniform is confirmed.
