Washington Huskies Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Huskies Wear It

Washington has worn the gold helmet in five of six games in 2026: purple over gold pants in the Apple Cup win over Washington State and the 16-14 escape against Utah State, purple over white pants against Eastern Washington, white over white pants in the 25-21 loss at USC, and all purple in the 41-24 loss to Iowa. The all-black Dawgs alternate came out once, for the Minnesota blackout. This is the full Washington Huskies 2026 uniform schedule: the purple home set, the white road set, the all-purple option, the new all-black Dawgs alternate, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Washington Huskies 2026 Uniform Sets

The core set dates to the adidas refresh of June 2025, which brought back the gold outline on the numerals that the final Nike jerseys used to carry, switched the purple jersey's shoulder stripes to gold and white, and reworked the pant stripes so the gold pants match the helmet stripe. The same release included an all-purple look, purple jersey over purple pants, in the spirit of the 2023 team that reached the national title game. The only 2026 alternate announced so far is the black Dawgs jersey, revealed in August. It is the third straight season with a blackout look: the first version debuted on Senior Day against UCLA in 2024, then returned for the Sun Bowl against Louisville and for Rutgers in 2025. Big Ten home teams wear color and visitors wear white, so the road dates below are predictable. The home dates are where the athletic department's game themes give us clues.

The Full Washington Huskies 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 6 vs. Washington State. ★ Confirmed from the program's own postgame photo: gold helmet, purple jersey, gold pants, the base home set for a season-opening Apple Cup at Husky Stadium. The trophy celebration shows the white numerals with gold outline and the gold pants with the purple and white stripe. Washington won 24-10. Washington State confirmed its own side in a reveal video: crimson helmet with a white facemask, white jersey, crimson pants. One calendar note: this was a Sunday game, 1 p.m. Pacific on NBC, not a Saturday.

September 12 vs. Utah State. ★ Confirmed from the Big Ten Network broadcast: gold helmet, purple jersey, gold pants again, on Band Day. Utah State wore white helmets, white jerseys and navy pants. Washington won 16-14 in a game that was 10-7 at halftime and was not settled until the fourth quarter. More: Utah State uniform schedule.

September 19 vs. Eastern Washington. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast, with one change from what we had down: gold helmet, purple jersey, white pants. We expected gold pants, the pairing Washington used in each of its first two games, and the Huskies switched to white below the belt for Community Day. Eastern Washington wore white with red and black, and Washington won 48-16.

September 26 vs. Minnesota. ★ Confirmed by Washington and from the game photos: the new all-black Dawgs set, matte black helmet, black jersey with DAWGS in gold script, black pants, with a purple and gold stripe on the helmet and shoulders. Minnesota wore a maroon helmet, white jersey and white pants. This Big Ten opener was the "Unleashed" blackout game, with fans asked to wear black, 8 p.m. Pacific on FOX. Minnesota won 27-24: Demond Williams Jr. threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third with 1:53 left, and Washington fell to 3-1. The Dawgs jersey is a one-off, so this is the only game it is scheduled to appear. ESPN lists this game on September 27 because its feed runs on UTC.

October 3 at USC, 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC. ★ Confirmed by Washington: gold helmet, white jersey, white pants. The Huskies posted it as "Week Five Threads vs USC." After the all-black Dawgs blackout against Minnesota, it is back to the gold helmet, now over the white road jersey and white pants for the first Big Ten road trip, to the Coliseum. USC is expected in cardinal at home, so it is cardinal against white with gold helmets on the Washington side. ★ Washington's own game photos match: gold helmet, white jersey, white pants, worn as posted, and USC wore the cardinal helmet, cardinal jersey and gold pants. Washington led by double digits in the second half, but USC scored the last 15 points, the go-ahead score a 48-yard fumble return by Jahkeem Stewart, and won 25-21. Demond Williams Jr. drove Washington to the USC 12 in the final minute, but his last pass fell incomplete. The Huskies are 3-2.

October 9 vs. Iowa. ★ Confirmed from game photos: gold helmet, purple jersey, purple pants, the all-purple look from the core set, on a Friday night themed Huskies for a Cure with fans asked to wear purple. It is the first time we have seen Washington in purple pants this season. Iowa wore the black helmet, white jersey and gold pants; see our Iowa 2026 uniform schedule. The Hawkeyes led 27-3 at halftime and won 41-24, and Washington is 3-3. ESPN shows it under October 10 because of UTC.

October 16 at Purdue. White expected. Another Friday night, 5 p.m. Pacific (8 p.m. Eastern) on FOX at Ross-Ade Stadium. ESPN files it under October 17.

October 24. Bye.

October 31 at Nebraska. White expected. Halloween in Lincoln, and Nebraska has announced its black alternate for this one, the second Blackout game, so it is white against all black.

November 7 vs. Penn State. Purple expected. Homecoming and the Purple Reign Game, opened by the Blanket Parade of former letterwinners. The theme made this look like the most likely date for the all-purple look from the core set, purple jersey over purple pants, but Washington already wore it against Iowa on October 9, so Purple Reign could bring something else. Nothing is confirmed. More on the visitors on the Penn State 2026 uniform schedule.

November 14 at Michigan State. White expected. Spartan Stadium, kickoff to be announced.

November 21 vs. Indiana. Purple expected. Salute to Service and Senior Day against the defending national champion. Last season Washington wore a one-off Honor and Support camouflage set for its Salute to Service game against Purdue. Nothing similar has been announced for 2026, so we are holding the home default for now.

November 28 at Oregon. White expected. The regular season ends at Autzen Stadium, and Oregon's home look is never certain until warmups. Our Oregon 2026 uniform schedule tracks the Ducks.

The Bottom Line

Six games in, Washington has stayed close to the base set, with one big exception: the new Dawgs jersey came out for the Minnesota blackout night, as the athletic department's theme suggested it would. The all-purple set came out for Huskies for a Cure against Iowa, which makes Penn State's Purple Reign homecoming harder to call, and Salute to Service against Indiana is where a camo surprise showed up last year. On the road, Washington opened with the gold helmet, white jersey and white pants at USC, and white is the jersey for the four trips left. The grid above has every date, and we fill in the stars as each uniform is confirmed.
