September 12 vs. Maryland. ★ Confirmed from the CBS Sports Network broadcast: navy helmet, navy jersey, navy pants again. September 19 at Southern Miss. White expected. The first road game of the season, 7 p.m. Eastern at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg on ESPN+, and the first look at the white road set in 2026.

September 26 at Miami (OH). White expected. A 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Yager Stadium in Oxford against a RedHawks team in red at home, so this is the one date on the schedule where a red jersey could never work.

October 3 vs. Syracuse. Navy expected. Homecoming at The Rent against the old Big East rival, noon on CBS Sports Network, with Syracuse expected in white. October 23 vs. UMass. Navy expected. A Friday night at 7 p.m. that UConn is billing as Cancer Awareness and The Rent at Night. UConn's January home schedule graphic had this game on Saturday, October 24, and it has since moved to Friday. A night game against a regional rival is the other natural spot for the red jersey.

The jersey is built for the home crowd, the reveal video is about the noise at The Rent, and college road teams wear white unless the home team agrees otherwise. That points to the seven home dates. Homecoming against Syracuse on October 3 is the obvious debut: the biggest crowd of the year, an old conference rival and a noon national TV window.
