Wondering what jersey Missouri is wearing this week? This is the full Mizzou 2026 uniform schedule, game by game, and it comes with the date every Tigers fan is asking about: the Memorial Stadium 100th anniversary throwback uniform debuts Saturday, September 19, against Troy at Faurot Field.

The 100th Anniversary Throwback Is the Headline
Memorial Stadium turns 100 in 2026, and Mizzou built a uniform for it rather than a patch. The set is a 1970s throwback, and it is the most restrained thing the program has put on the field in a decade.
What makes it work is what is missing:
- No wordmark on the chest. No "Missouri," no "Mizzou," just numbers. That is the nod to everything the program wore before the 1980s, and it is the single decision the whole uniform rests on.
- A black helmet with the block M and a gold and white stripe running down the center.
- The same gold and white striping on the shoulders, carried down onto the sleeves the way the 1970s jerseys did.
- All-gold pants, which is the piece that turns a black jersey into a throwback instead of a blackout.
- The block M at the base of the collar, a reference to the Rock M built into the north end zone in 1927.
- "STP" sewn into the back collar, for the "Something To Prove" mantra the staff has used since 2023.

Our Grade: B-
The old-timey look is genuinely well executed. It just does not give us Missouri.
Start with what works. Taking the wordmark off a college football jersey is a real risk, and the chest does not look empty here, because the shoulder striping does the identifying work. Gold and white bands on a black sleeve is one of the oldest tricks in the sport and it still reads from the upper deck, which is more than most modern alternates manage. Tying the block M at the collar to the Rock M that has sat in the north end zone since 1927 is a real connection to the building being honored rather than a manufactured backstory.
The problem is the palette. Black with a muted old-gold and silver-grey trim is handsome and it is also bland, and it is the same well roughly a dozen programs go to when they want to look vintage. Missouri's identity is a brighter, harder gold than this. Wash that out and you are left with a uniform that could belong to half the country.
The all-gold pants are the one place the set gets loud, and they are carrying more weight than they should have to. If the jersey striping had been pulled toward that same brighter gold, the whole thing would read as Mizzou instead of as a nice generic throwback.
A centennial deserves the loudest version of a team's own colors. This is the quietest.

How Missouri's Uniform Rotation Actually Works
Missouri does not publish a season-long uniform schedule. Under Nike the Tigers rotate black, gold, white and anthracite pieces and announce each week's combination a few days before kickoff, usually on Thursday or Friday.
The reliable rules:
- Home games at Faurot Field: black or gold jerseys, decided game by game.
- Road games: white jerseys, per NCAA visitor rules.
- September 19 vs. Troy: the confirmed 100th anniversary throwback.
- Anthracite shows up once or twice a year, almost always in a night game.
We update this page as each week's combination is announced, so the grid below always reflects the latest confirmed look.
The Full Missouri 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week
Twelve games, seven at Faurot Field, and one bye.
September 5 vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Columbia. Season opener at home. Black or gold, announced game week.
September 12 at Kansas, Lawrence. The Border War renewal on the road. White jersey.
September 19 vs. Troy, Columbia. The Memorial Stadium 100th Anniversary Game and the throwback debut. The one uniform date on this schedule that is locked.
September 26 at Mississippi State, Starkville. White.
October 3 vs. Florida, Columbia. First SEC home game, and a strong candidate for the anthracite set if it lands in prime time.
October 10 vs. Texas A&M, Columbia. Black or gold.
October 17 at Ole Miss, Oxford. White.
October 24. Bye week.
October 31 at Arkansas, Fayetteville. Halloween road game. White, per NCAA visitor rules, no matter how much fun a blackout would be.
November 7 vs. Texas, Columbia. The biggest home date on the schedule. If Mizzou has a second special uniform in reserve, this is where it shows up.
November 14 at Georgia, Athens. White.
November 21 vs. Kentucky, Columbia. Black or gold.
November 28 vs. Oklahoma, Columbia. Senior Day and the regular season finale.

The Bottom Line
Missouri's 2026 uniform schedule has one date that matters: September 19 against Troy, when the Memorial Stadium 100th anniversary throwback gets its night. We grade it a B-. The 1970s construction is right and the empty chest is a brave, correct call, but the palette is washed out enough that it reads as a generic vintage set rather than a Missouri one. Around it, expect the usual Columbia rhythm, black or gold at home and white on the road, with each combination announced days out and logged here when it is.
