September 5 vs. Morgan State, Tempe. ★ Confirmed: gold helmet, maroon jersey, gold pants, the chrome maroon pitchfork on the shell and the traditional combination Arizona State has opened at home in since 2011. New for 2026 was the Big 12 and Monster Energy patch on the right shoulder. Arizona State won 70-7 in a game the two schools agreed to shorten to a ten-minute fourth quarter.

September 19 vs. Kansas, Wembley Stadium, London. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: gold Sparky helmet with the maroon facemask, white jersey, for the Union Jack Classic, the first college football game played in London and the Big 12 opener for both schools. The pants are the piece we cannot call. No frame we have shows the legs cleanly, and while Arizona State announced maroon pants for the game on September 18, an announcement is not a sighting, so that part stays open until we see it. Kansas was the designated home team, which is why this reads as a road game on the Sun Devils' schedule, and the Jayhawks answered in their blue jersey. Arizona State won 24-17.

October 3 vs. Baylor, Tempe, 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. ★ Confirmed by Arizona State: maroon chrome helmet, maroon jersey, a look the school is calling Maroon Monsoon. The helmet is a maroon chrome shell with a gold pitchfork and a maroon facemask, the first time this season the Sun Devils have stepped out of the gold helmet. The jersey is maroon with a gold ARIZONA STATE wordmark across the chest and gold numbers. The pants are not shown in the reveal video, so we are leaving that piece open until we see it. Baylor has confirmed a white helmet with the green and gold center stripe, white jersey and green pants, so the Big 12 home opener should be maroon against white. The maroon jersey was the one piece we expected, and the rest is new: it is the first white helmet and the first white pants we have seen from Arizona State in 2026. Hawai'i wore all white. November 21 vs. Oklahoma State, Tempe. Maroon jersey expected. This is homecoming, and if the Roses & Devils throwback is being held for a home crowd with alumni in the building, homecoming is the obvious night. That is our read, not an announcement. Announced in game week.

November 28 at Arizona, Tucson. White jersey expected for the Territorial Cup. The rivalry game closes the regular season on the road, and the combination is announced in game week.

The Bottom Line

Through the first three games, Arizona State wore the gold helmet every week and changed the jersey and the decal, maroon with the pitchfork at home, white with Sparky at Texas A&M and again at Wembley.
