Arizona Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Wildcats Wear It

Arizona wears a navy jersey under a white helmet at home and goes all white on the road, and both of those looks are already on the board in 2026. This is the full Arizona 2026 uniform schedule: the navy home set, the white road set, the all-red Red Out look, the Sandstorm alternate that gets its own themed game against TCU, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games, including the 100th Territorial Cup. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Arizona 2026 Uniform Sets

Arizona is a Nike program with a short list of base pieces and a long list of ways to combine them. The navy-over-white look is the one the program calls Desert Swarm, after the 1990s defenses, and it is the default at Casino Del Sol Stadium. The newest set is Sandstorm, which debuted in a 41-13 win over Oklahoma State on October 4, 2025, and went on the road to Houston later that season. Arizona also pulled out a retro look with paw print helmet stickers against Kansas State in 2025. No new 2026 uniform has been announced. What Arizona did announce is a fan color for every home game, and those calls are worth watching: a Red Out against Arizona State has usually meant the team wears all red, too. Big 12 home teams wear color and visitors wear white, which makes the five road dates easy to call.

The Full Arizona 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 5 vs. Northern Arizona. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, navy jersey, white pants, the Desert Swarm look for the Native American Heritage opener in Tucson. Fans were asked to wear blue for the first Blueout since 2016, which had people wondering whether the navy helmet would come back for the first time since 2020. It did not. Northern Arizona wore white helmets, white jerseys and white pants. Arizona won 35-7. One calendar note: ESPN files this game under September 6 because its feed runs on UTC, and a 6:30 p.m. kickoff in Tucson lands after midnight in London. It was played Saturday, September 5.

September 12 at BYU. ★ Confirmed from the FOX broadcast and Arizona's game-week reveal: all white, white helmet included, with navy numerals outlined in red and the navy and red center stripe on the helmet. BYU wore white helmets over royal jerseys and royal pants, so Provo got a clean white-against-royal game, which we covered on the BYU 2026 uniform schedule. Arizona led 17-14 at halftime and did not score again. BYU won 28-17 in the Big 12 opener.

September 19 vs. Northern Illinois. ★ Confirmed: red jersey, and the navy we had penciled in never came out. Arizona posted Tre Spivey's postgame interview from the field on Sunday and he is in the red jersey with the white numerals, the navy collar and the navy and white sleeve stripe, which settles the jersey on its own. The team's own win graphic for this game, the one carrying the 42-17 score and the Northern Illinois mark, puts a white helmet and white pants with it, so red over white is the full read, with the jersey the piece we have seen in live footage. Arizona had asked fans to wear red for the Hispanic Heritage game and then wore it themselves, which is the part the crowd call did not tell you. TNT produced no ESPN frames, so none of this came from the broadcast. Kickoff was 7:30 p.m. in Tucson, and ESPN lists it under September 20 for the same UTC reason as the opener.

September 26 at Washington State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, navy pants, on a non-conference road trip to Pullman, on CBS. Washington State wore its gray script helmet over crimson and gray for the Stripe Out. Arizona fell behind 14-0, then Noah Fifita threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to Tre Spivey, who caught seven passes for 129 yards, and Arizona won 34-24 to move to 3-1. More: Washington State uniform schedule.

October 3 vs. Cincinnati. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, navy jersey, navy pants, navy as expected for the Big 12 home opener, Family Weekend and Pacific Islander Heritage, in front of a white-clad crowd. Cincinnati wore the all white it announced: white helmet, white jersey and white pants. Arizona won 34-7 to move to 4-1, after winning the first-ever meeting 30-24 in Cincinnati last season.

October 10 at West Virginia, noon ET on TNT. ★ Confirmed from the game photos: red helmet, white jersey with red numbers, red pants, the Sandstorm set with red pants that Arizona showed in its game week photos. The team posted "a storm is coming" on October 8 with the red chrome helmet carrying a desert ARIZONA decal with a cactus and sun. The side decal was not visible in the game photos we saw, but the look matched the game week photos. When Sandstorm debuted against Oklahoma State in 2025 it came with off-white pants, so the red pants were the new twist, and this was the set's first road trip. West Virginia wore all black for its Coal Rush game: black helmet, black jersey with WEST VIRGINIA across the chest, and black pants. Arizona led 24-17 at halftime, scored 14 in each of the third and fourth quarters, and won 52-31 to move to 5-1.

October 17. Bye.

October 24 vs. Iowa State. Navy expected. Homecoming, and a big one: Arizona is marking 100 years of Bear Down, the words quarterback John "Button" Salmon left for the team before his death in 1926. Fans are asked to wear red. If Arizona has a one-off uniform in its pocket this season, this is the date we would bet on.

October 31 at Texas Tech. White expected. Halloween in Lubbock, where the Red Raiders are expected in red or black.

November 6 vs. TCU (Friday). Sandstorm expected. Arizona scheduled its first official Sandstorm-themed game for this Friday night, with fans asked to wear white, and the theme is built around the uniform that debuted against Oklahoma State. We will star the cell once the team confirms. ESPN lists this game on November 7 because the 8:15 p.m. Tucson kickoff is past midnight UTC.

November 14 vs. Utah. Navy expected. Military Appreciation night, with fans in red. Arizona has occasionally worn a military-themed uniform for this game, though last season it stayed in its standard look. Utah should be in white; see the Utah 2026 uniform schedule.

November 21 at Kansas State. White expected. Final road game, against a purple home side in Manhattan. The Kansas State view is on the Kansas State 2026 uniform schedule.

November 28 vs. Arizona State. Red or navy, with red the lean. It is Senior Day and the 100th Territorial Cup, and Arizona has called a Red Out. When Arizona calls a Red Out for this game, the team has usually worn all red, so we are not treating navy as a safe call here. Arizona State is expected in white; see the Arizona State 2026 uniform schedule. Arizona announces its combination in game week.

The Bottom Line

Six games in, Arizona is 5-1 and has mostly worn what the rules predict: the navy jersey under the white helmet at home and white on the road. The twists so far are the red jersey against Northern Illinois, navy pants, at Washington State under the white jersey and again against Cincinnati under the navy one, and Sandstorm with red pants in the 52-31 win at West Virginia. The interesting part of this season is the promo calendar. Arizona has told fans what color to wear for every home game, and three of those calls point somewhere other than navy: red for Bear Down 100 at homecoming, white for Sandstorm night against TCU, and red for the 100th Territorial Cup. The road schedule should stay white all the way through. The grid above has every date, and we fill in the stars as each uniform is confirmed.
