South Florida Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Bulls Wear It

South Florida has three helmets, three jersey colors and a brand new head coach who has already changed the pattern. This is the full South Florida 2026 uniform schedule: the green home jersey, the white road set, the black alternate, the metallic gold helmet that carried the program for years, and the Gold Standard white shell the Bulls brought back for their 30th season. Five games in, USF has worn a white helmet every time, which is not what the last few years looked like, and the Gold Standard finally came out against Temple on October 3. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The South Florida 2026 Uniform Sets

The base kit is adidas, the colors are green and gold, and the wardrobe is deeper than most people outside Tampa realize. What changed this year is the headwear. USF announced in May that the Gold Standard helmet was coming back for the program's 30th season of football, and the reveal did what a good helmet reveal is supposed to do.

The original Gold Standard ran in 2015 and 2016 and again from 2019 through 2021, a plain white shell with a solid gold Bull U. The 2026 version is tighter: the logo is smaller, it carries a white outline and visible gold flake to match the finish on the metallic gold helmet, the bumper up front holds a gold bull, and the number and conference mark on the back are gold too. It is meant to go with the white jersey, which makes every road date a candidate.

The other change is on the chest. In April, USF and Tampa General Hospital announced a jersey patch deal, the first of its kind for a college football program in Florida.

The patch itself showed up in July when the Bulls put out the 2026 uniform, a small TGH shield on the chest opposite the American Conference A.

One more piece of context before the grid. Brian Hartline is in his first season running the program, 2026 is the last year the Bulls play home games at Raymond James Stadium before the on campus stadium opens, and the schedule has no Power Four opponent on it for the first time in years.

American Conference home teams wear color and visitors wear white, so every road cell below starts in white and every home cell is a question of which green, or whether the black comes out.

The Full South Florida 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 5 vs. FIU. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, green jersey, white pants, the Hartline era opening in the lightest version of the home look at Raymond James Stadium. USF won 19-9. The gold shoulder yoke and the Tampa General patch both made their debut here.

September 12 at Army. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: all white, white helmet, white jersey, white pants, on a noon kickoff at Michie Stadium. It was the standard white shell with the green Bull U and the green facemask, not the Gold Standard, so the new helmet is still sitting in the equipment room. USF won 28-24 in its American Conference opener against an Army side in the gold helmet with the black jersey and black pants.

September 19 vs. Delaware State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, green jersey, green pants. The green pants are the new piece. USF wore the same white helmet and green jersey over white pants against FIU in the opener, so this is the first green below the belt in 2026. An FCS visitor on a Saturday night in Tampa, and the last non conference home date before the schedule turns. USF won 59-17.

September 26 at Bowling Green. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, green pants, the road white on top with the green pants from the Delaware State win underneath. Bowling Green wore an orange helmet, brown jersey and orange pants. USF trailed 6-0 into the fourth quarter, then Luke Kromenhoek ran in from two yards and D.J. Crowther, who finished with 143 rushing yards, added a one-yard score, and the Bulls won 14-6 to move to 4-0. The first half of a home and home with the Falcons that also brings them to Tampa in 2030.

October 3 vs. Temple. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, gold pants, not the green we expected at home. The bull on the helmet and the numbers are gold, so it is white and gold head to toe at Raymond James Stadium. The helmet is the Gold Standard, its 2026 debut: the broadcast shows the gold Bull U with a white outline and a gold facemask, which matches the revived shell rather than the standard white helmet with the green Bull U. Temple wore the white diamond helmet with cherry jerseys and cherry pants. USF led 13-10 in the fourth quarter, but Ajani Sheppard ran 34 yards for the go-ahead touchdown and Temple won 17-13, the Bulls' first loss after a 4-0 start.

October 8 at UTSA. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet with the green bull and green center stripe, white jersey, white pants. The Gold Standard helmet stayed home. UTSA, in its black Lights Out uniforms, won 31-24.

October 17 vs. Kent State, 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN+. ★ Confirmed by the team: gold helmet, green jersey, gold pants for Homecoming. It is the first time the gold helmet has come out in 2026, after six straight games in a white shell. Second MAC opponent of the season, this time in Tampa. Every Week 7 look is in our Week 7 uniform guide.

October 24. Bye.

October 31 vs. UAB. Green expected, with a real chance of black. Halloween at home is the most obvious spot on the calendar for the black alternate, which USF last pulled out late in 2025 under the white helmet.

November 6 at East Carolina. White expected. A Friday night at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on ESPN2, against a purple home side. More: East Carolina uniform schedule.

November 12 vs. Memphis. Green expected. Thursday night at Raymond James against Memphis in white, and probably the biggest home game of the year.

November 21 at Florida Atlantic. White expected. The Bulls' designated annual conference opponent, in Boca Raton.

November 27 or 28 vs. Tulane. Green expected. The regular season finale and the last home game at Raymond James Stadium before USF moves on campus, and the date is genuinely unsettled: the conference still has to slot the Thanksgiving weekend windows, and Tulane lists it the same way. If any game gets a send off uniform, it is this one.

The Bottom Line

The story of South Florida's 2026 wardrobe so far is the helmet USF made everyone wait for. The Bulls revived the Gold Standard in May, built a whole reveal around it, and then wore the plain white shell with the green Bull U for the first four games. Against Temple on October 3 the Gold Standard finally came out, the gold Bull U on the white shell with a gold facemask, over a white jersey with gold numbers and gold pants, in a 17-13 loss that dropped USF to 4-1. It went with the white jersey at home, not on the road, so the open question now is how often it comes back. The green jersey is the home default, white is locked in on the road, the black alternate is the wild card, and the gold lid that defined the last decade finally returns for Homecoming against Kent State on October 17, with the green jersey and gold pants. There are four home dates and two road dates left. Halloween against UAB and the finale against Tulane are the two cells we are watching hardest. The grid above has every date, and we add a star as each combination is confirmed.
