Texas State Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Bobcats Wear It

Texas State is playing its first Pac-12 season, and the Bobcats have already used two different gold helmets in San Marcos. This is the full Texas State 2026 uniform schedule: the maroon home jersey, the white road set, the gold and white helmets, the Bobcats script shell that showed up for Family Weekend, every game played so far and the expected uniform for the rest of the year, starting with the Pac-12 opener at San Diego State on October 3. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Texas State 2026 Uniform Sets

The uniforms are Adidas, and the base look is simple: maroon and gold at home, white on the road. What makes Texas State interesting this season is the helmet rotation. The Bobcats wore the white shell in Austin, the gold Bobcat head shell for their first two home games, and then a gold shell with a maroon Bobcats script across the side for Family Weekend against UIW, paired with maroon pants for the first maroon-on-maroon look of the year. The program did not announce the script helmet in advance, and we have not seen it tied to any other date.

This is also a new conference. Texas State spent 13 seasons in the Sun Belt before joining the Pac-12 for 2026, and it comes in off three straight bowl wins, the last a 41-10 win over Rice in the Armed Forces Bowl on January 2. Our Rice 2026 uniform schedule covers the other side of that bowl.

Texas State scored 28 in the first quarter and won 63-10.

October 3 at San Diego State. White expected. The Pac-12 opener at Snapdragon Stadium, 7:30 p.m. Pacific on The CW. San Diego State is expected in black at home, which would make for a sharp white against black pairing. See our San Diego State 2026 uniform schedule.

October 10. Bye.

October 15 vs. Colorado State. Maroon expected, with a caveat. A Thursday night at UFCU Stadium, 7 p.m. Central on CBS Sports Network, and the game theme is Bobcats Blackout. That is a fan theme and Texas State has not announced a black uniform, but a blackout on a national weeknight is the home date we are watching hardest. Our Colorado State 2026 uniform schedule has the Rams.

October 24 vs. Utah State. Maroon expected. Homecoming, 6:30 p.m. Central on CBS Sports Network. See our Utah State 2026 uniform schedule.

October 31 at Boise State. White expected. Halloween night on the blue turf, 8 p.m. Mountain on The CW. More on our Boise State 2026 uniform schedule.

November 7 at Oregon State. White expected. A late kickoff at Reser Stadium on The CW. Our Oregon State 2026 uniform schedule has the Beavers.

November 14 vs. Fresno State. Maroon expected. Heroes Day and Community Day, 3 p.m. Central on The CW. Fresno State should be in white; see our Fresno State 2026 uniform schedule.

November 21 vs. Washington State. Maroon expected. Senior Day and "T" Association Weekend, 5 p.m. Central on USA Network, the last scheduled home game. Our Washington State 2026 uniform schedule has the Cougars.

November 28. Pac-12 flex game, opponent to be set. The conference fills Week 13 based on the standings and has projected Texas State at Colorado State, which would mean white. It will not be confirmed until six days before the game at the latest. The Pac-12 Championship Game follows on Friday, December 4 at the home of the highest seed.

Which Helmet Is Next?

Texas State has worn three helmets in four games, and the script shell is the one to watch. It appeared for Family Weekend with the maroon pants and has not been announced for anything else. The Bobcat head gold shell looks like the default at home, and the white shell has been the road helmet so far. If the script helmet comes back, the Bobcats Blackout against Colorado State on October 15 and Homecoming against Utah State on October 24 are the two home dates that fit.

The Bottom Line

Four games into its Pac-12 era, Texas State has run through white, gold and maroon without ever looking like anyone but Texas State. The maroon and old gold palette is one of the more distinctive in the conference, and the Bobcats have leaned on it: gold pants for the first two home games, maroon pants and a new script helmet for the third. The open questions are the road helmet at San Diego State and whether the Blackout night on October 15 is a fan theme or a uniform. The grid above has every date, and we add a star as each uniform is confirmed.
