Tulane Uniform Schedule 2026: Every Jersey and When the Green Wave Wear It

Tulane has more fun with uniforms than anyone else in the American Conference, and the fans have the receipts to prove it. This is the full Tulane 2026 uniform schedule: the green home jersey, the white road set, the sky blue alternate, the one-night Mardi Gras City Edition the Green Wave already burned in Week 2, and a week-by-week outlook for all twelve games. We update this page as each combination is confirmed.

The Tulane 2026 Uniform Sets

The base is a Nike package that got a light refresh before the 2025 season: a bolder chest wordmark replacing the thinner 2019 version, the same green, white and sky blue jersey colors, and a Welcome To Uptown line stitched inside the collar. Helmets come in white with the green Angry Wave, olive green, and sky blue, and Tulane mixes and matches all of it without much of a pattern.

What sits on top of that base is what makes this program worth tracking. Tulane launched its City Edition series in 2025 and then built the 2026 version entirely out of New Orleans: argyle and beads and king cake and a jester, in the Mardi Gras purple, green and gold. We graded the whole thing when it dropped in Tulane's Mardi Gras City Edition uniforms, and the short version is that it is the most committed city uniform anyone has made in college football.

This is not a fluke, either. Fans voted Tulane the winner of the UNISWAG uniform of the year for the 2025 season, which for a Group of Five program going up against the Oregons and Oklahoma States of the world is a genuine result.

The Full Tulane 2026 Uniform Schedule, Week by Week

September 5 at Duke. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast and the game photos: white helmet with the green Angry Wave, white jersey, green pants, the standard road set for a 2:30 p.m. Central opener at Wallace Wade Stadium on ACC Network. Duke wore the white helmet with the blue block D, a blue jersey and white pants, and won 17-3. The Duke side of it is on our Duke 2026 uniform schedule.

September 12 vs. South Alabama. ★ Confirmed: the King of Mardi Gras City Edition, the hand-painted metallic green helmet with the beaded argyle stripe and the king cake baby on the chin bumper, the green jersey with the purple, green and gold triple drop shadow numbers, and the white pants with argyle down the leg. The home opener at Yulman Stadium, 6 p.m. Central, and Tulane won 28-24. The school said up front this was a one-night uniform, with the game-worn pieces sold afterward, so it is not coming back this season.

September 19 at Kansas State. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: white helmet, white jersey, light blue pants, the road white given a lift by the sky blue below it at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Kansas State wore the silver helmet, purple jersey and silver pants for a third straight week and won 31-20. You can follow the other side on our Kansas State 2026 uniform schedule. Our college football Week 3 uniform guide has the rest of the slate.

September 26 vs. Southern Miss. ★ Confirmed by Tulane: sky blue helmet, sky blue jersey, sky blue pants, all sky blue for the Battle for the Bell at Yulman Stadium, and the broadcast frames match. We had green down, and a rivalry game at home turned out to be exactly the sort of date Tulane uses for something extra. Southern Miss came in all white, white helmet with the gold Southern Miss wordmark, white jersey and white pants. The Golden Eagles led 21-14 after three quarters, then Cooper Helmke kicked a field goal and Maurice Turner broke a 74-yard touchdown run, his second of the night in a 200-yard game, and Tulane won 24-21 to keep the Bell and move to 2-2.

October 3. Bye.

October 10 at Army. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: green helmet, white jersey, white pants, the road white under the green shell at Michie Stadium, noon Eastern on CBS Sports Network. Army wore the gold helmet and black jersey, as expected. Army scored 13 points in the fourth quarter and won 20-17, and Tulane fell to 2-3. Our Army 2026 uniform schedule tracks the other sideline.

October 16 vs. Memphis. ★ Confirmed by the team: green helmet, green jersey, white pants. A Friday night conference game at Yulman on ESPN, 6:30 p.m. Central, and the biggest national television window Tulane gets all year at home. Memphis is confirmed in a blue helmet with the tiger stripe, a white jersey with tiger-striped sleeves and blue pants. Every Week 7 look is in our Week 7 uniform guide, and the Tigers side is on the Memphis uniform schedule.

October 24 vs. UTSA. Green expected. Back at Yulman with kickoff still to be announced.

October 30 at Charlotte. White expected. A Friday night trip to Jerry Richardson Stadium, 6 p.m. Central on ESPN2, the night before Halloween.

November 7 vs. Tulsa. Green expected. Homecoming in New Orleans, kickoff to be announced, and Homecoming is the other date on this schedule where a program normally saves something. More: Tulsa uniform schedule.

November 14 at Rice. White expected. A trip to Rice Stadium in Houston, kickoff to be announced.

November 21 vs. North Texas. Green expected. Senior Day and the final home game of the regular season. More: North Texas uniform schedule.

November 27 or 28 at South Florida. White expected. Regular season finale at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, and the date is genuinely unsettled: Tulane lists it as November 27 or 28 with the designation due by October 11. We will lock the cell then.

The Sky Blue Question

Tulane has three jersey colors and has only used two of them so far. The sky blue set, jersey and helmet both, was all over last season. It came out head to toe against Southern Miss on September 26, and Tulane went green for the Friday night Memphis game, so the next home date with real air under it is Homecoming against Tulsa in November.

It is also worth saying what the City Edition series is and is not. Tulane introduced its first City Edition uniform in October 2025 for a November debut, then made the Mardi Gras build for 2026. That is two City Edition sets in two seasons, both one-offs, both retired immediately after the game. If there is a third piece coming this year it would be a separate reveal, and nothing has been announced.

The Bottom Line

Tulane spent its best uniform of the year in Week 2 and that was clearly the plan, because the Mardi Gras set was built for a home night in New Orleans and nothing else on the schedule would have suited it. What is left is a straightforward color pattern with one open question: green at home, white on the road, and the sky blue alternate, which came out head to toe for the 24-21 Battle for the Bell win over Southern Miss. The grid above has every date with the expected jersey, and we add a star as each uniform is confirmed.

What are Tulane's football uniforms for 2026?

An olive green home jersey, a white road jersey and a sky blue alternate, all Nike, all carrying the bolder Tulane chest wordmark introduced in 2025 and a Welcome To Uptown mark inside the collar. Helmets come in white with the green Angry Wave, olive green and sky blue. On top of that sits the one-night Mardi Gras City Edition set worn against South Alabama.

Will Tulane wear the Mardi Gras City Edition uniform again in 2026?

No. Tulane said the King of Mardi Gras set was a one-game uniform, worn against South Alabama at Yulman Stadium on September 12 and then sold, with proceeds going to the Green Wave Talent Fund. Our full breakdown and grade is in Tulane's Mardi Gras City Edition uniforms.

Does Tulane still have the sky blue uniforms?

Yes. The sky blue jersey and the sky blue helmet are both part of the current closet and were used several times last season. Both came out head to toe for the 24-21 Battle for the Bell win over Southern Miss on September 26.

When is Tulane's Homecoming game in 2026?

Saturday, November 7 against Tulsa at Yulman Stadium, with kickoff still to be announced. Green is expected. With the October 16 Memphis game confirmed in green, Homecoming is the home date we are watching most closely for an alternate.
