August 29 at Virginia. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: red helmet with the smaller Tuffy decal, white jersey, red pants, against Virginia in orange jerseys, orange pants, and white helmets at Scott Stadium. The downsized Tuffy was the headline before kickoff, and some fans wanted the oversized version back. Virginia won 34-8.

September 11 vs. Richmond. ★ Confirmed from the broadcast: the Wolfpack Warriors set, a black helmet with a red facemask, a black and gray camo jersey, and matching camo pants, for the home opener at Carter-Finley Stadium.
