That is the home order for 2026-27: purple Statement 13, white Association 10, gold Icon 9, City Edition 5, Specter Edition 3. Gold finishes third in its own building.
Gold has not disappeared. It just moved out. The Icon Edition is still the most-worn Lakers jersey of the season at 28 games, but 19 of those are on the road. With most NBA teams now wearing color at home, the Lakers bring gold on the road to avoid a color-on-color game. The gold travels, and the purple stays home.

The Patterns Hiding in the Schedule
Sunday white is alive. Nine of the Lakers' 10 white Association games at home fall on a Sunday. The only white home game that is not on a Sunday is Christmas Day against the 76ers. If you have tickets to a Sunday home game, plan on white: every Sunday home game this season is a white game.
Purple Fridays. Nine of the 13 purple Statement home games are on a Friday. Friday night at Crypto.com Arena this season is a purple night.
No gold at home in December. The Lakers play six home games in December and none of them are gold: three Specter Edition nights (Pelicans, Pacers, Nuggets), white on Christmas and December 27, and purple on December 29. After the Jazz on November 18, the next gold home game is January 7 against the Celtics. That is eight straight home games and seven weeks without gold in the building.
Purple opens the home stand. After tonight's gold opener, the next two home games are both purple: the Clippers on Friday, October 23, and the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, October 27.
