We are going to be upfront here: the Chargers are our team, and the all-navy "Super Chargers" alternate is our favorite jersey they own. So when the team released its 2026 uniform schedule and confirmed when the navy comes out, we paid attention. The short version: the Bolts will wear the all-navy look three times this season, all at home at SoFi Stadium.
The All-Navy "Super Chargers" Look
The Super Chargers set is the deep-navy alternate, worn head to toe with navy pants, the glossy navy helmet, the lightning bolt, and the gold and powder-blue trim doing the accent work. It is a moody, powerful look under the SoFi lights, and it is the jersey we would put in a Chargers store window every single time.
We grade it an A-, and there is exactly one thing keeping it from an A+: the pants. Worn the way it is now, all navy on navy, it is a touch heavy. Pair this jersey with white pants instead and it becomes a perfect uniform, one of the best in the league, full stop. That single change is the difference between a great look and a flawless one.
There is a little history baked into how we feel about this one, too. We spent years begging the Chargers to lean into powder blue, and now that they have made the sky blue their identity, we find ourselves quietly missing the navy as the primary. It is a good problem to have, and the fact that the team still gives the navy a real role in the rotation is the best of both worlds.

Every Game the Chargers Wear the Navy in 2026
The all-navy alternate is on the schedule for three home games this season, all at SoFi Stadium. Here is every date to circle.
Week 9 · vs. Houston · 1:05 PM
via the Los Angeles Chargers
The navy debuts for 2026 in an early-afternoon home game against Houston. A 1:05 PM kickoff means full daylight for the first look, which lets the gloss on the helmet and the gold trim really show.
Week 12 · vs. New England · 5:20 PM · Sunday Night Football
via the Los Angeles Chargers
This is the one. A prime-time Sunday Night Football stage against New England is exactly where the all-navy belongs. Under the lights on a national broadcast, this look is going to pop, and it is the game we would build a watch party around.
Week 17 · vs. Kansas City
via the Los Angeles Chargers
Saving the navy for a Week 17 division game against Kansas City is a statement. If the AFC West is on the line late in the year, the Bolts will be in their best look for it, and there is no better jersey to wear for a game that matters against the Chiefs.
Three of Eight: Our One Small Gripe
Three navy games out of the Chargers' eight home dates in 2026 is a solid ration, and we like that the team spreads them across the season and keeps one for prime time. Honestly, though, we would not have complained if they wore it for half their home games, and part of us still wishes they would just make it the primary again. When your alternate is this good, rationing it to three games is almost too disciplined.
That said, scarcity is what keeps a great uniform feeling like an event, and the Chargers clearly know what they have here. Three navy nights at SoFi, one of them under the Sunday-night lights, is a schedule worth getting excited about.

We grade it an A- because it is worn all navy, navy jersey with navy pants. Pairing the navy jersey with white pants instead would break up the look and, in our view, make it a perfect A+ uniform.
How many home games do the Chargers have in 2026?
Eight. In the 17-game NFL schedule, the extra home game rotates between the conferences each year, and in 2026 it belongs to the NFC, so AFC teams like the Chargers host eight home games. The navy is scheduled for three of those eight.
