The team also published its full jersey schedule 2026 on September 1, jersey and pants for all 17 games, so there is no guessing about when each look appears.

4. Charger Power Gold Alternate

Charger Power arrived in 2025 as the first yellow jersey in franchise history, a nod to the Air Coryell era, when fans wore gold Charger Power T-shirts. The jersey is solid gold with white numbers outlined in powder blue and powder blue bolts on the shoulders. The powder blue is what saves it, because it gives the eye somewhere to land on a jersey that is otherwise one bright color.

In 2025 it was worn gold on gold, and we graded that version a C-. A single column of gold from collar to cleats erases the break at the waist and reads more like a costume than a uniform. For 2026 the team announced white pants instead, which fixes the proportion and pulls the white helmet down into the rest of the look. That moves it up to the B- we gave it in our Chargers at Buccaneers preview. It is still a lot of gold, and gold is a hard color to build a football uniform around.

When it is worn in 2026: once, on the road, in Week 13 at Tampa Bay on Sunday, December 6, with the white helmet and white pants. The Buccaneers are wearing their white 1976 creamsicle throwback, and that is what allows a visiting team to wear a colored jersey.

3. Super Chargers Navy Alternate

Super Chargers is a modern take on the navy jerseys the franchise wore from 1992 to 2006, the era of the 1994 AFC Championship team. The deep navy body carries white numbers outlined in gold and white-and-gold bolts on the shoulders. Navy is dark enough that the gold trim glows instead of blending in, and the whole set looks like it belongs to this team rather than to a merchandising plan.

It pairs with a glossy navy helmet and navy pants, and the pants are the problem. Head-to-toe navy has the same missing waistline that held the gold set back. 2. White Road Uniform

The white road jersey takes the powder blue set and turns it inside out: powder blue numbers outlined in gold on a white body, with powder blue and gold bolts on the shoulders. Powder blue numbers on white are about as readable as numbers get, and the bolts give the shoulders a shape most white road jerseys lack.

What lifts it to an A- is the pants. The team rotates three colors under it, and white over powder blue pants is the strongest version: a road uniform built only from the franchise's two signature colors, with a clean break at the waist. The all-white version is fine but loses that break, and white over gold pants is the loudest of the three. It ranks just behind powder blue because the home jersey carries the identity and the road set borrows it.

Powder blue is the best uniform in the NFL, and it is why we ranked the Chargers first in our league-wide ranking with an A. The jersey carries white numbers outlined in gold and gold bolts on the shoulders, and no other team in football owns this color. Powder blue over white pants is the version we would pick over any uniform in the league: the jersey does the talking, the white pants give it a floor, and the gold cuts cleanly against the blue.
