The Milwaukee Brewers are going to the World Series. They swept the two-time defending champion Dodgers 4-0 in the National League Championship Series, closing it out 6-4 in Game 4 at Dodger Stadium on Thursday night, October 15, behind a Garrett Mitchell go-ahead home run in the sixth. It is the franchise's first National League pennant and its first trip to the Fall Classic since 1982, when Milwaukee was still in the American League. Game 1 of the World Series is Friday, October 23, at American Family Field.
That means new gear, and a lot of it. The players pulled on the gray National League Champions T-shirt and the New Era locker room cap right after the final out, and New Era has a whole run of 2026 World Series side patch caps in different fits, led by the 59FIFTY version of the on-field cap the Brewers will wear in the Series. Most of those caps are the same design on a different crown, so we graded the ones that actually look different: the shirt, the hoodie, the locker room hat, the '47 Clean Up, the gold and navy 9TWENTY and the 59FIFTY. We count down from our lowest grade to our highest.

6. Brewers 2026 National League Champions Locker Room Hoodie
The Fanatics locker room hoodie carries the exact same chest graphic as the T-shirt, printed on a heather charcoal fleece with a kangaroo pocket. "Milwaukee Brewers" sits in spaced gold capitals above a navy bar reading "National League," a big chrome-effect "Champions" script sweeps across the middle, and the ball-in-glove logo sits at the bottom between gold "20" and "26." The National League logo hangs off the right side and the small 2026 World Series logo and the Fanatics mark sit up top.
The art is the same art, so the shine we like on the shirt carries over. The problem is the canvas. The graphic is scaled down to fit between the hood opening and the pocket, and in the product photo the drawstrings hang straight through "Milwaukee Brewers" and the top of the "Champions" script. On a shirt the design has room to breathe. On the hoodie it reads cramped, and the gold numerals and the ball-in-glove, the best parts of the piece, end up just above the pocket seam. We did not find a report of the players wearing this one in the celebration, so it is graded strictly as the fan version of the shirt.

5. Brewers 2026 National League Champions Locker Room T-Shirt
This is the shirt the players were wearing when the champagne started. It is a heather charcoal Fanatics tee, and the layout stacks from top to bottom: the 2026 World Series logo and the Fanatics mark, "Milwaukee Brewers" in spaced gold capitals, "National League" in white condensed block letters on a navy bar, then a huge "Champions" script in a shiny chrome finish with a navy drop shade and a long tail swash. Behind the script is a white spray-textured infield diamond. Under it, the ball-in-glove logo in navy and gold sits between "20" and "26" in Brewers gold, and the red, white and navy National League logo is tucked against the right edge of the diamond.
The chrome is the best part. That shiny "Champions" script catches the light in every clubhouse photo and gives the shirt the celebration feel it needs, and it is the first thing you notice from across the room. The bottom half backs it up: the ball-in-glove anchors the design and the gold numerals pull the Brewers' yellow onto the shirt in a way that reads as Milwaukee right away. Putting the logo inside an infield diamond is a nice baseball-first touch too.
What keeps it at a B is everything around the chrome. Count the marks: the World Series logo, the Fanatics logo, the National League logo and the Brewers logo all on one chest. And the base is heather charcoal, not Brewers navy, so the shirt leans on the print for all of its color.

4. Brewers '47 2026 National League Champions Clean Up Hat
The '47 Clean Up is the relaxed, unstructured dad hat of the bunch, in white. "National League" runs across the top in navy script between two gold stars, "CHAMPIONS" sits under it in big gold block letters outlined in navy, and the ball-in-glove is set on a green infield diamond with "20" and "26" on the base paths.
It has more color than any of the locker room pieces and the infield diamond is a charming throwback idea. But the green turf does not connect to anything in the Brewers' colors, the white crown will not stay white for long, and the graphic reads more souvenir stand than ballclub. A fun hat, not a great one.

3. Brewers 2026 Locker Room 9SEVENTY Hat
This is the cap from the celebration, the one that says "WORLD SERIES" across the front. New Era lists it as the 2026 League Championship Series Locker Room 9SEVENTY Stretch-Snap, Fanatics lists it as the 2026 World Series Locker Room 9SEVENTY in charcoal, and in the product photos it reads almost black. The front is a big raised white "WORLD SERIES" wordmark with gray rules above and below it. Over the wordmark is a round navy patch holding the ball-in-glove logo in gold, framed by ornate gray scrollwork on both sides, with "20" and "26" tucked into the curls. The white New Era flag sits on the left side, the undervisor is gray, and the back carries a "League Champs" wordmark under the MLB logo in the same scroll frame, above a gray snap strap.
We like the design. When we graded the Vegas Golden Knights' conference title hat in May, our biggest complaint was that the front looked back at the round they just won and buried the Final on the back panel. This hat does it the right way around. The front says "World Series," the place the Brewers are going, and "League Champs" gets the back. The roundel is a strong center, and in every celebration photo the first thing you read is where they are headed next.
We just wish it were more colorful. Charcoal is the default locker room shade, but the Brewers have one of the best two-color palettes in baseball and the only place navy and gold show up is inside that small roundel. Everything else is white and gray. Swap that charcoal crown for Brewers navy and put a gold outline on the wordmark and this jumps a full grade.

2. Brewers 2026 World Series Side Patch 9TWENTY Hat (Gold and Navy)
Here is the color we kept asking for. This 9TWENTY has gold front panels with a navy back crown and a navy visor, the navy and gold ball-in-glove on the front, and the 2026 World Series patch on the right-wear side.
It is the only cap in the release with gold panels, which puts Brewers gold front and center, and the ball-in-glove looks fantastic on it. It is the soft, unstructured 9TWENTY, so it is more fan cap than game cap, but if you want one hat that screams Milwaukee in a stadium full of navy, this is it.

1. Brewers 2026 World Series Side Patch 59FIFTY
This is the on-field cap. The 59FIFTY is MLB's official on-field cap, and in the World Series both teams wear the Series logo on the side of their game caps. This is the retail version of the one the Brewers will wear during World Series games: the all-navy ball-in-glove fitted cap, the cap they wore at home in the NLDS and NLCS, with the 2026 World Series patch on the right-wear side. The patch stacks the MLB logo over "2026" in raised gold block numerals and "World Series" in white script, set on a diamond. The back carries the MLB logo.
It is really nice, and it is one of our favorite World Series caps in recent years. The ball-in-glove, navy crown, gold outline: the team's real cap, untouched, with one small mark that dates it to the Brewers' first World Series trip in 44 years. The gold numerals in the patch pick up the gold in the logo, so the side of the cap matches the front instead of fighting it. No chrome, no scrollwork, no charcoal stand-in for navy. If you want one piece that says "October 2026" five years from now and still looks like a Brewers cap, this is it.

Bottom Line
The Brewers' pennant gear gets the big decisions right. The locker room hat leads with "World Series" on the front and saves "League Champs" for the back, and the T-shirt's chrome "Champions" script gives the celebration the shine it deserves. Where the locker room set loses points is color: charcoal on the hat, heather charcoal on the shirt and hoodie, with Brewers navy and gold squeezed into logos and numerals. The World Series side patch caps fix that. The ball-in-glove carries everything it touches, the gold and navy 9TWENTY is the boldest piece in the set, and the best piece of all is the simplest one, the navy ball-in-glove 59FIFTY with the World Series patch on the side that the players will wear on the field.
