The 2026 World Series logo is a white cursive "World Series" script on a navy diamond trimmed in gold, with the MLB logo at the top, Capital One under the script and a gold 2026 banner below. It is nearly identical to the 2025 mark, the first time the logo has repeated in back-to-back years since 1998 and 1999. We ranked every one in our World Series logo history.
Where the patch goes on the jersey. Since 2023, the World Series patch has been a small mark high on the chest, not on the sleeve. MLB moved it when sleeve sponsor patches arrived, so the Brewers keep their Northwestern Mutual patch on the sleeve and the Guardians keep Marathon. The patch only goes on for the two pennant winners, starting with Game 1.
On the cap. Every playoff team has worn the postseason logo on the right side of its New Era cap all October. In the World Series, the two teams switch to the World Series logo there.
Is there a gold World Series uniform? No. Nothing gold has been announced for this World Series. The gold-trimmed jerseys you may remember belong to the champion the following season, like the Dodgers' gold trim after their titles. The winner here would get that treatment in 2027.

Games 1 and 2 at home: cream, expected. The cream with "Brewers" in navy and gold and the all-navy ball-in-glove cap has been the home playoff jersey for two straight Octobers. They also wore it for every home game of the 2025 postseason. Game 1 is a Friday, which was the "Wisco" City Connect's night during the regular season, but no team has worn a City Connect in a playoff game that we can find, and Milwaukee has not reached for it this month.
Games 3, 4 and 5 on the road: navy alternate, expected. The navy jersey with the yellow-front ball-in-glove cap is 4 for 4 on the road, and the Brewers won three of those games, including the sweep in Los Angeles.

The powder blue question. The Brewers retired their road grays this year and made powder blue the primary road jersey. It was their most-worn road look in the regular season, 43 games. It has not been worn once in the playoffs. If it shows up on the road in the World Series, it will be the first powder blue World Series jersey since the 1982 St. Louis Cardinals wore it against these same Brewers. Cleveland Guardians: What They Have Worn This October
The Guardians lead the ALCS 2-1. Game 4 was rained out Friday, so it is Saturday in Cleveland, with Game 5 there on Sunday.

At Tropicana Field: home white, with a chance of the Devil Rays. The Rays have worn their home whites three times this October and the 1998 Devil Rays rainbow throwback once, a Game 2 win. The full set is on the Rays uniform schedule.
If It Is Rays vs. Brewers: The Best Uniform Matchup, Under a Roof
On paper, a Rays-Brewers World Series is the better uniform matchup. Milwaukee's navy and gold against Tampa Bay's navy and Columbia blue would be two of the cleanest color sets in baseball, with the new "TAMPA BAY" gray in Milwaukee and a chance at the Devil Rays rainbow throwback at the Trop. It would also put a powder blue road jersey and a Columbia blue team in the same Series.
The catch is the roof. Tropicana Field is a fixed dome, so Games 3, 4 and 5 would be played indoors no matter what. American Family Field has a retractable roof, and the Brewers generally want it to be 60 degrees or warmer before they open it, so cold October nights in Milwaukee would likely keep it shut. That could make this an entire World Series played indoors. A Guardians-Brewers Series would at least send three games outdoors to Progressive Field. The Last Time: Brewers in the 1982 World Series

The Brewers' only other World Series was 1982, as an American League team, and they lost to the Cardinals in seven games. Their home uniform that year was a white pinstriped pullover with "Brewers" across the chest and the ball-in-glove cap, the look their current pinstripe alternate echoes. On the road they wore powder blue, and so did the Cardinals. That is why the new powder blue road jersey is the one fans most want to see this year.
