What are the teams wearing in the 2026 MLB Championship Series? Four teams are left. In the National League Championship Series, the Dodgers are at the Brewers, a rematch of the 2025 NLCS, and Game 1 was Sunday, October 11 at American Family Field. In the American League Championship Series, the Guardians are at the Rays, starting Monday, October 12 at Tropicana Field. Below is every ALCS and NLCS date, each team's home and road set, what they wore in the Division Series and in recent Octobers, and what we expect in every game. We log every game, both jerseys, the same night.
NLCS Game 1 is in the books. Confirmed: the Dodgers wore the road gray with the "Dodgers" script and the blue cap, as in their two NLDS road games, and the Brewers wore the home cream with the all-navy cap they wore for both NLDS home games. Our grade: B-. The Brewers won it 2-1 and lead the series 1-0. The card is also on the MLB uniform tracker.

What Changes on the Uniform in the Championship Series
Nothing new gets added between the Division Series and the LCS. Every team still wears the 2026 postseason patch on the right side of its New Era cap, the same serif POSTSEASON mark MLB has now used for three straight Octobers. We graded it, and every postseason logo since 2011, in our MLB postseason logos ranked countdown. The small STRAUSS decal stays on both sides of every batting helmet, which we explain in our playoff helmet logo breakdown. The World Series chest patch arrives only for the two pennant winners, starting October 23.
NLCS: Dodgers at Brewers
What Are the Brewers Wearing in the NLCS?
Milwaukee finished with the best record in baseball, 103-59, and beat the Padres 3-1 in the NLDS.
The home set. The cream home with "Brewers" in navy and gold is the primary, and the white pinstripes trade off with it. The "Wisco" City Connect usually takes Friday home games, and the Brewers have no Friday home game in this series.
The road set. The Brewers retired their road grays for 2026 and replaced them with a powder blue road set, "Milwaukee" in navy and gold. The navy ball-in-glove alternate is the other road option, and it is the one they chose for both NLDS games at Petco Park, over road gray pants with the yellow-front cap.
Recent Octobers. The cream owns October at American Family Field. The Brewers wore it for NLDS Games 1 and 2 this year and for all five home games of the 2025 postseason, including NLCS Games 1 and 2 against these same Dodgers. NLCS Game 1 made it eight straight home playoff games in cream.
Our expectation. Cream at home for Games 2, 6 and 7. At Dodger Stadium for Games 3, 4 and 5, the navy alternate, which means the powder blue is still waiting on its first playoff game. Brewers uniform schedule · Brewers uniform calendar
What Are the Dodgers Wearing in the NLCS?
The Dodgers have won the last two World Series and beat the Braves 3-1 in the NLDS on the way to a bid for a third straight.
The home set. The home white with the "Dodgers" script, red numbers and the all-blue "LA" cap. The cream "City of Dreamers" City Connect usually takes Saturday home games, and none of the Dodgers' NLCS home games falls on a Saturday.
The road set. The usual road gray has the "Dodgers" script. The alternate gray says "Los Angeles," and the royal blue road alternate comes out for select series.
Recent Octobers. No team is more predictable in October. MLB's game uniform records show the Dodgers in home whites for every home playoff game in 2024 and 2025, 17 games in all, and they wore home whites again for NLDS Games 1 and 2 this year. On the road they wore the "Dodgers" gray in every playoff game of those two runs except one, Game 3 of the 2024 NLDS in San Diego, which was the "Los Angeles" gray. This October they wore the "Dodgers" gray for NLDS Games 3 and 4 in Atlanta and for NLCS Game 1.
Our expectation. The "Dodgers" gray in Milwaukee for Games 2, 6 and 7, and home whites at Dodger Stadium for Games 3, 4 and 5. Dodgers uniform schedule · Dodgers uniform calendar

ALCS: Guardians at Rays
What Are the Rays Wearing in the ALCS?
Tampa Bay won the AL East at 98-64 and swept the Yankees 3-0 in the ALDS.
The home set. The home white, with "Rays" arched across the chest in navy and the yellow sunburst off the "R," worn with the navy "TB" cap. The Rays also own the 1998 Devil Rays "rainbow" throwback, which usually takes Friday home games, and the black "Grit x Glow" City Connect, which has usually taken Saturdays. Every Rays home game in this series falls on a Monday or Tuesday.
The road set. The new gray with "TAMPA BAY" arched across the chest in a light blue, green and yellow gradient, which debuted September 22. Before that, navy over gray pants was the usual road look.
What they wore in the ALDS. Home whites for Games 1 and 2 at the Trop against the Yankees in road gray, and the new gray for Game 3 at Yankee Stadium, topped with the navy "Devil Rays" cap. That Game 3 was the new gray's first postseason game, and the Rays won it to finish the sweep.
Our expectation. Home whites at the Trop for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7, and the new gray at Progressive Field for Games 3, 4 and 5. Rays uniform schedule · Rays new gray road uniform · Rays uniform calendar
What Are the Guardians Wearing in the ALCS?
Cleveland won the AL Central at 85-77 and beat the White Sox 3-2 in the ALDS, taking Games 3, 4 and 5 after falling behind 2-0.
The home set. The home white with "Guardians" in red script, worn with the red-crown, navy-bill "Diamond C" cap. The red alternate, with "Guardians" in the squared-off Bridge Print font, is Cleveland's home color option. The navy "CLE" City Connect usually takes Friday home games, and ALCS Game 4 is a Friday at Progressive Field.
The road set. Road gray with "Cleveland" across the chest, or the navy alternate with the big red "Diamond C" on the chest.
What they wore in the ALDS. Home white for Game 1, then the red alternate for Game 2 and for the winner-take-all Game 5. On the road at Rate Field, the gray for both Games 3 and 4.
Recent Octobers. The red alternate keeps showing up on big nights. Cleveland wore it for Game 1 of the 2024 ALDS, Game 5 of the 2024 ALCS against the Yankees and Game 1 of the 2025 Wild Card Series, and now for ALDS Games 2 and 5 this year.
Our expectation. The road gray at Tropicana Field for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7. At home, red is our lean after it took two of the three ALDS home games, with home whites the real alternative. Friday's Game 4 is the City Connect's usual night, but our postseason hub explains why we have not found a City Connect ever worn in a playoff game, and we would not bet on the first one here. The Bottom Line
The Championship Series should look like classic baseball. The Dodgers have worn home whites for every home playoff game in three straight Octobers, and the Brewers have worn the cream for eight straight home playoff games going back to the start of the 2025 postseason. The questions are on the edges: whether Cleveland keeps reaching for the red, whether the Rays' new gray adds to its one postseason game, and whether Milwaukee's powder blue finally gets an October night. We will fill in every game, both jerseys, the same night here and on the MLB uniform tracker.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does the 2026 NLCS start?
The NLCS started Sunday, October 11, with the Dodgers at the Brewers at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX. The Brewers won Game 1, 2-1. Game 2 is Monday, October 12, at 5:00 p.m. ET in Milwaukee, and a Game 7, if needed, would be Monday, October 19.
When does the 2026 ALCS start?
Monday, October 12, with the Guardians at the Rays at 8:00 p.m. ET at Tropicana Field on TBS, truTV and HBO Max. Game 2 is Tuesday, October 13, and a Game 7, if needed, would be Tuesday, October 20, back at the Trop.
What did the Dodgers and Brewers wear in NLCS Game 1?
The Dodgers wore the road gray with the "Dodgers" script and the blue cap, and the Brewers wore the home cream with the all-navy cap. We graded the matchup a B. The Brewers won 2-1.
What are the Dodgers wearing in the NLCS?
The road gray with the "Dodgers" script in Milwaukee and home whites at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have worn home whites for every home playoff game in 2024, 2025 and 2026 so far.
Will the Brewers wear powder blue in the NLCS?
We do not expect it. The powder blue replaced the road gray in 2026, but Milwaukee chose the navy alternate for both NLDS road games in San Diego, so we expect navy at Dodger Stadium. The powder blue has not been worn in a playoff game yet.
Why do the Brewers wear cream at home in the playoffs?
The cream is Milwaukee's primary home uniform, and it has become their October look. They wore it for all five home playoff games in 2025, both NLDS home games this year and NLCS Game 1.
What are the Rays wearing in the ALCS?
Home whites at Tropicana Field and the new gray with "TAMPA BAY" on the chest at Progressive Field. That is exactly how they dressed in the ALDS sweep of the Yankees.
Will the Rays wear their new gray road uniform in the ALCS?
We expect it for Games 3, 4 and 5 in Cleveland. The Rays debuted the gray on September 22 and wore it for its first postseason game in ALDS Game 3 at Yankee Stadium.
Will the Guardians wear red in the ALCS?
Probably at least once. Cleveland wore the red alternate for ALDS Games 2 and 5 at Progressive Field, plus Game 5 of the 2024 ALCS, so red is our lean for its home games, with the home whites the alternative.
Will the Guardians wear their City Connect on Friday in the ALCS?
We do not expect it. The navy "CLE" City Connect usually takes Friday home games, and Game 4 is a Friday, but we have not found any team wearing a City Connect in a postseason game.
What uniforms will the World Series teams wear?
The two pennant winners add the World Series patch to the jersey, alongside the postseason cap patch. The World Series starts October 23. Until then, every LCS game, both jerseys, is on our MLB uniform tracker.
Is the 2026 NLCS a rematch?
Yes. The Dodgers and Brewers also met in the 2025 NLCS, when Milwaukee wore its cream for Games 1 and 2 at home.
