Philadelphia has the rare closet where the alternate is better than the primary, and everybody knows it. Midnight green is one of the most distinctive colors in the NFL, but Kelly Green is the jersey fans actually want, and the Eagles ration it. Their jersey schedule 2026 gives Kelly Green two home dates, the black alternate one, and adds a small change to the everyday sets: an updated EAGLES wordmark across the chest.
Here is every Philadelphia Eagles jersey and uniform for 2026, ranked worst to first and graded, with the helmet and pants each one pairs with and the weeks it is on the field.
4. Black Alternate
The black alternate is a black body with white numbers, the EAGLES wordmark on the chest, midnight green trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs, and the wing logo on the sleeves. It is well made, and the midnight green trim keeps it tied to the primary set.
It ranks last because it has nothing to do with Philadelphia. Black is not an Eagles color in any meaningful way, and on this jersey the one color that is, midnight green, is reduced to thin trim. It also takes an alternate date that could go to Kelly Green, which is a much better uniform. It does pair with the black helmet, which at least commits to the idea rather than putting a green shell on a black jersey. That gets it to a C+.
When it is worn in 2026: once, in Week 15 at home against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, December 19, with the black helmet. The team has not announced pants.
3. White Road Uniform
The white road jersey carries midnight green numbers with black trim, a black collar and black sleeve cuffs, the wing logo on the sleeves, and the updated EAGLES wordmark above the numbers. Midnight green reads far better on white than on its own dark body, so this is the most legible jersey in the closet.
It grades a B+ rather than higher because of the black. The collar and cuffs add a third dark color that competes with midnight green instead of supporting it, and from a distance the trim reads as a heavy outline. With midnight green pants under it, the road set has a strong waistline and looks like a finished uniform. With white pants it gets lighter and plainer.
When it is worn in 2026: all eight road games. At Tennessee (Week 2), at Chicago on Monday night (Week 3), at Jacksonville (Week 5), at Washington (Week 8), at Dallas on Thanksgiving (Week 12), at Arizona (Week 13), at San Francisco (Week 17) and at the Giants (Week 18). It pairs with the midnight green helmet, and the Eagles alternate between midnight green and white pants depending on the week. Dallas wears white at home, so Thanksgiving is the one road date where Philadelphia could choose a colored jersey; our schedule has the Eagles in white for it.
2. Midnight Green Home Uniform
Midnight green is a color no other NFL team has, and Philadelphia has stuck with it since 1996. The home jersey carries white numbers with black trim, a black collar and cuffs, the wing logo on the sleeves, and, new for 2026, the updated EAGLES wordmark across the chest. The wordmark is a small change, and it is a good one: it gives the front of the jersey a second element besides the number.
We graded the Eagles an A- in our league-wide ranking, and the primary gets the same grade. The colors are handled as well as anyone's. What keeps it from an A is that the set runs dark and a little dull: black trim on a dark green body makes the whole thing heavier than it needs to be.
When it is worn in 2026: six home games. The Commanders (Week 1), Rams (Week 4), Panthers (Week 6), Cowboys on Monday night (Week 7), Steelers (Week 11) and Colts (Week 14). It pairs with the midnight green helmet and its silver wings. In Week 1 the Eagles wore midnight green over white pants against Washington, and the matchup earned a B+ on our NFL uniform tracker.
1. Kelly Green Throwback
Kelly Green is the throwback to the Randall Cunningham and Reggie White era, and since it returned in 2023 it has been the most talked-about alternate in football. The jersey is a bright kelly green with white numbers and the old eagle logo on the sleeves. It pairs with a kelly green helmet with silver wings, so the uniform reads as one bright color with white doing the accent work.
It is the best uniform Philadelphia owns, and the gap is wide. Kelly green is a brighter, warmer color than midnight green, and with no black trim fighting it, the jersey looks clean from any seat in the stadium. The design is simple, the color is the whole idea, and it is still distinctive: nobody else in the NFL wears this green. It grades an A, and it is the clearest case in the league for a throwback becoming the primary.
When it is worn in 2026: twice, both at Lincoln Financial Field. Week 9 against the Giants on Sunday, November 8, with New York in its Vintage White throwback, and Week 16 against the Texans on Thursday, December 24, a Christmas Eve game. The Eagles have not listed pants for either date.

The Bottom Line on the Eagles Jersey Rankings
The top of this closet is excellent. Kelly Green is an A and one of the best throwbacks in the league, and midnight green is an A- that handles an unusual color with real discipline. The white road set is a solid B+ held back by heavy black trim, and the black alternate is a C+ that looks fine and means nothing.
The fix is obvious and the fans have been asking for it for years. Kelly Green is better than the primary, and two wearings a season is rationing a jersey that should be worn far more often.
