The Golden State Warriors 2026 Christmas Day jersey is here, and it is one of the more interesting concepts in the leaked batch. The design is built around a Bay Bridge-inspired pattern that runs down the left side of the jersey over a black base. Gold and royal blue accents fill in the details, and the Warriors wordmark sits centered on the chest in gold.
The concept makes sense. The Bay Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Bay Area, and tying it into a basketball jersey is a cool idea on paper. But the execution does not quite deliver.
The Design Breakdown
The biggest issue with this jersey is balance. The Bay Bridge pattern only runs down the left side of the jersey, and the right side is basically just plain black. That asymmetry makes the whole thing feel unfinished. If you are going to commit to a city-inspired graphic, it should wrap the entire jersey or at least feel like a complete composition. Having it concentrated on one side just looks like they ran out of ideas halfway through.

The gold and black color combination does look nice. We will give them that. Gold pops on a black base, and it feels premium. The Warriors have always had one of the best color palettes in the NBA, and even on a jersey we are not thrilled about, the colors still carry it.
What Could Have Been Better
We wanted more from this one. The Bay Bridge concept had real potential. Imagine a subtle bridge cable pattern woven across the entire chest, or a tonal fog effect that fades from one side to the other. Instead we got a graphic that feels like it belongs on a souvenir hoodie from Fisherman's Wharf.

The other problem is that this does not feel like a Christmas jersey at all. There is nothing about this design that says holiday basketball. It could be a City Edition, a Statement jersey, or a random alternate from any month of the year. That was the same issue across the entire 2026 Christmas collection, but it stands out here because the Warriors had such a strong foundation to work with.
The Grade
The Warriors' 2026 Christmas jersey has the bones of a good design but does not follow through. The gold on black is clean, the Bay Bridge concept is interesting, and the overall color palette is strong. But the asymmetric layout holds it back, and there is nothing here that feels like Christmas. It is a jersey that could have been great but settled for just okay.
