MLS released its top 10 best-selling player jerseys of 2026 on Tuesday, November 3, based on sales on the league's online store from January 1 through October 30. Lionel Messi is No. 1 for the fourth season in a row. But the biggest story is right behind him: Thomas Müller in his first full MLS season, and summer signings Robert Lewandowski and Antoine Griezmann, all made the top five.
The quick version: Messi and Son Heung-Min held the top two spots from 2025. Inter Miami has three players in the top 10, LAFC has two, and six of the ten names are new to the list.

Lewandowski has been the best-seller since he got here. He's No. 4 for the full year even though he signed with Chicago at the end of June. Since then, his Fire jersey has outsold every jersey in MLS, Messi's included. That's the number to watch in 2027.

The World Cup winners came to sell jerseys. Müller (Germany, 2014), Griezmann (France, 2018) and Messi and De Paul (Argentina, 2022) give the top 10 four World Cup winners. Müller is No. 3 in his first full MLS season, and Griezmann made the top five a few months after arriving.

A 17-year-old made the list. Cavan Sullivan of the Philadelphia Union is No. 6. In September he became the youngest MLS Player of the Month ever, and in October he became the youngest scorer in U.S. men's national team history.
