PSG's 2026/27 Kits: The Best Wardrobe In Europe, Graded

ColorWay Sports·

We ranked every 2026/27 kit at Europe's fifteen biggest clubs and Paris Saint-Germain came out of it with two distinctions: the single best shirt of the season, and the best wardrobe on the continent. They are the only club whose kits both grade A- or better. What is striking is how little they did to get there.

What Does Paris Saint-Germain's 2026/27 Home Kit Look Like?

Old Royal blue restored, with a bold wide central red Hechter stripe flanked by two crisp white lines, and the stripe carries unbroken onto the back of the shirt.

This is the kit of the 2026/27 season and nothing else was especially close.

What makes it work is that it is simple and exactly to the point. That centre stripe running the full length of the shirt, front to back, is the single best design decision anyone made this year. There is no hidden pattern, no anniversary, no story you need explained in a press release. It is one stripe, correctly placed, on the right shade of blue.

The restoration of Old Royal matters too. PSG have drifted around their blue in recent years, and this is the version that looks like the club.

What Does Paris Saint-Germain's 2026/27 Away Kit Look Like?

Almost an inverted version of the home shirt, drawn from what Nike describe as the sound of Paris, with black at the sleeve tips.

Most clubs treat the away shirt as the place to get weird. PSG treated it as the place to prove the home shirt's idea travels, and it does.

The colours are right and the black at the sleeve tips is the small decision that finishes it. One quirk worth knowing for collectors: the authentic version carries a different crest from the replica.

Why PSG's Wardrobe Beat Everyone Else's

The pattern across our whole European ranking was that the clubs who did less won. The two best shirts of the season, PSG's home and AC Milan's home, are a stripe and some stripes. Neither has a concept. Meanwhile the shirts built on big ideas, Manchester City's every-shade-of-blue gradient and Real Madrid's crown geometry, both landed in the bottom half.

PSG are the cleanest proof of it. Two shirts, one idea, executed twice.

Who Makes Paris Saint-Germain's Kits?

The Bottom Line
