5. Midnight Mode

Midnight Mode is the Rams' entry in the NFL x Nike Rivalries program: a matte near-black jersey with white numbers outlined in blue, and shoulder horns in sol yellow and royal over a halftone fade. It is worn under a black helmet with a single yellow horn and a white RAMS bumper. Its one 2026 date is Week 16 at Seattle on Friday, December 25, with both teams in their Rivalries uniforms.

The helmet is the good part. A black shell with one bright yellow horn is clean. The jersey is a dark alternate for a team whose best asset is royal and yellow in Southern California daylight, the dotted fade under the horns is the modern treatment most fans wanted gone, and the thin blue outline lets the white numbers sit flat on the black body.

It grades a C-, where we placed it, twelfth of sixteen, in our Rivalries uniforms ranking. Christmas Day at Seattle is a great stage, but it puts Midnight Mode next to the set we ranked second in the whole program.

4. Primary Royal

Primary Royal is the home jersey, worn with the royal helmet with the horn and, so far, yellow pants. It has five games: the Week 1 opener against the 49ers in Melbourne, the Bills in Week 5, the Cardinals in Week 6, the Chargers in Week 8 and the Week 18 finale against Seattle. Melbourne was the full royal, royal and yellow look at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and San Francisco won 27-7. That Melbourne game is the same jersey, not a separate uniform.

In the Australian daylight the yellow pants did more than usual, and the matchup looked good because the Rams' royal and yellow shares nothing with the 49ers' red and gold. The jersey on its own is the trouble. Royal over yellow on the Nike template reads heavy, the same issue we have with the Chargers' full blue and gold look.

It grades a C+, the grade we gave it in our Rams alternate jerseys breakdown. Five games is the fewest for any primary jersey in the NFC West, and we are fine with that.

3. Classic Sol

Classic Sol is the gold throwback that honors the 1951 World Champion Rams. The Sol gold jersey carries royal satin details and three-stripe sleeve blocking from that era, and it is worn with the returning multi-striped white pants and the standard royal helmet. It gets two home games, both in prime time: Week 2 against the New York Giants on Monday, September 21, and Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, December 3.

Yellow is always hard to carry over a whole jersey, and this one does not fully escape that. What saves it is the white pants and the sleeve stripes, which give the gold somewhere to stop and a genuine period feel. Monday night under the SoFi lights is the right first test.

It grades a B-, the grade we gave it at the reveal. It is a warm, fun nod to the franchise's roots rather than a jersey we would want every week.

2. Fearsome White

Fearsome White is named for the Fearsome Foursome defensive line of the 1960s. It is a white jersey with royal numbers, a continuous royal stripe that sweeps over the shoulder to mirror the helmet horn, and TV numbers centered on the sleeve, worn with white pants. The helmet is the royal shell with white horns, a white facemask and new 3D bumper logos. Its one date is Week 12 at home against the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, November 25.

The shoulder stripe is the best single idea in the whole Rams closet, and the white facemask is the detail we have wanted from this equipment staff for years. The one flaw is the lettering. The numbers carry a black outline and the swoosh is black, which pulls the jersey a step toward Indianapolis. Drop the black and it is flawless.

It grades an A-, the grade we gave it at the reveal. Our only complaint about its schedule is that it gets one game.

1. Primary White

Primary White is the workhorse, with eight games. It covers all seven road games that are not Christmas Day at Seattle: at the Broncos in Week 3, the Eagles in Week 4, the Raiders in Week 7, the Commanders in Week 9, the Cardinals in Week 10, the 49ers in Week 14 and the Buccaneers in Week 17. It also covers one home game, Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys, where the Rams wear white at SoFi Stadium on purpose to put Dallas in its navy jersey.

This is the set the Rams got right when they brought it back as a throwback, and it is still one of the cleanest road looks in the NFC. Royal and yellow read brightest on white, and the horn stripes do the work without any help from a fade or an outline.
