Update: The reveal has happened. See our full review and grade of every jersey and helmet in the 2026 collection: Baltimore Ravens New Uniforms 2026 Review.
The Baltimore Ravens are getting new uniforms for the first time in over two decades. The team confirmed that their new uniform collection will be unveiled on April 16, 2026, under the campaign name "The Next Flight." The teaser image features a real raven with the Ravens logo and the date 4.16.26, and the team posted a hype video on social media to go with it. For the full franchise picture from 1996 through The Next Flight, see our Baltimore Ravens uniforms hub.
What We Know So Far
This is not going to be a full rebrand. Reports indicate that the Ravens are making minimal changes to their uniforms rather than a complete overhaul. The primary logo, helmet, and jersey colors are all staying the same. Purple, black, and white will remain the core of the Ravens' color scheme.
What is changing are the details. Reports suggest the new collection will include a "Baltimore" wordmark added to the white road jerseys, a simplified number font, and a new sleeve logo. There are also reports of subtle iridescent accents on the uniforms inspired by the feathers of a real raven, which appear black from a distance but reveal shades of purple, blue, and green in the light. The Ravens are also expected to introduce two new alternate uniforms as part of the collection.
The timing lines up with the broader NFL uniform cycle this offseason. The Titans already dropped their full rebrand on March 12, the Falcons revealed their new set on April 2, the Commanders are revealing theirs on April 15, and now the Ravens are going the day after on April 16. It is shaping up to be the busiest uniform week in recent NFL history.
The Reveal Event
The Ravens are unveiling the new uniforms at a PSL event at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The event will be hosted by ESPN's Peter Schrager and will feature an interview with new head coach Jesse Minter. Among the franchise legends expected to attend are Terrell Suggs, Todd Heap, Qadry Ismail, Jamal Lewis, Jermaine Lewis, Michael McCrary, Ray Rice, Jimmy Smith, and Matt Stover. That lineup alone tells you the Ravens are treating this as a major moment for the franchise.
What We Want to See
The Ravens have had essentially the same uniform template since the franchise started in 1996, with tweaks along the way. The purple, black, and white color scheme has always been strong, but the jersey designs themselves have never quite matched the quality of the logo and helmet. The shield crest on the chest has looked dated for a while, and the number font has been unchanged since day one.
We want to see the Ravens modernize without overthinking it. A cleaner chest design, updated number fonts, and maybe a fresh take on the sleeve striping. The Color Rush gold pants they wore a few years ago proved that this team can pull off a bold look when they want to. If the iridescent raven feather accents are real, that could be one of the most creative design details in the NFL. The key is keeping it subtle enough that the uniforms still look like football jerseys and not fashion experiments.
