Los Angeles Rams New Uniforms and Logo 2026: Everything About Tomorrow's Reveal

The Los Angeles Rams are unveiling a new logo and new uniforms tomorrow, April 16, at a block party ahead of the NFL Draft. This is one of the most anticipated rebrands of the 2026 offseason, and for good reason. The Rams' current look has been polarizing since day one. The gradient logo, the bone-colored alternates, the inconsistent identity. It's all been a talking point for years. Tomorrow, that era officially ends. Here's everything we know.

The Current Rams Logo Is Going Away

The biggest confirmed change is the death of the gradient. The white-to-yellow gradient that has been on the Rams' LA logo, number fonts, and uniform details since 2020 is gone. The new LA logo will feature a flat gold throughout, replacing the gradient entirely. The leaked draft hat from late March gave us our first look at the updated design, and while the shape of the LA is similar, the clean, solid coloring makes it look like a completely different logo.

Reports also indicate the Rams are introducing a brand new wordmark. The draft hat leak showed an angular, italicized "RAMS" typeface on the snapback that has a speed-stripe feel to it. If that wordmark carries over to the jerseys and brand materials, it would be a major upgrade over the plain block text the team has been using since 2020.

The Rams are also expected to release two alternate uniforms later this offseason, meaning tomorrow's reveal will likely focus on the primary home and away sets plus the updated logo package.

The Current Uniform Closet

Before we can talk about what's changing, let's look at what the Rams are working with right now.

The royal blue home jersey has always been the strongest piece in the Rams' closet. The blue and yellow combination works. The problem has always been the gradient on the numbers and the overall execution of the secondary elements. The bones of a great uniform are there, but the details have been holding it back.

The bone-colored away jersey has been one of the most divisive uniforms in the NFL. Some fans love the off-white look. Most don't. It doesn't read as "white" on the field, and the gradient numbers make the whole thing look washed out. If the Rams go back to a clean white away jersey tomorrow, nobody will miss the bone.

When the Rams have worn white jerseys, they've actually looked pretty clean. White jersey with blue pants is a solid road look for this team. If the new set goes in this direction full time, it would be a major step up from the bone.

The black alternate has been a fan favorite even though it technically doesn't connect to the franchise's color history at all. It looks good on the field, but it's always felt more like a fashion statement than a football uniform. Two new alternates are reportedly on the way later this offseason, so we'll see if black sticks around.

What We Want to See

Look at that photo. That's what the Rams should look like. Blue and yellow with the horns running from the helmet through the jersey. Simple. Iconic. No gradients, no bone colors, no unnecessary design elements. Just a classic football uniform.

More blue, less yellow. The leaked logo is almost entirely gold with a blue outline. We think the Rams need to go the opposite direction. Royal blue should be the anchor of this identity, not gold. The best Rams uniforms in history were the royal blue and white sets from the early years in LA and the St. Louis era. Gold should be an accent, not the primary color on the logo. The current identity already leans too heavily on the "sol" yellow, and doubling down on it would be a missed opportunity. We were honestly hoping they'd go with a blue and white identity similar to what they wore when they first moved back to Los Angeles.

A clean, simple refresh. We don't want another attempt at being futuristic or trendy. The 2020 set tried too hard to be modern, and it backfired. The Rams need to look at what the Commanders just did and take notes. Washington went back to the classics and we gave them our highest grade ever. The Rams should do the same thing. Royal blue jerseys, white pants, gold accents. Keep it simple.

The horn. If the Rams are going to update the uniform, we want to see the full ram horn running from the helmet down to the shoulder pad in one continuous line, with no gap between the helmet horn and the jersey. That connected horn is one of the most iconic design elements in football history. However, there are rumors that the helmet itself isn't changing at all, which would mean the horn stays the same. If that's the case, it's a missed opportunity. The gap between the helmet and the jersey is one of the biggest visual problems with the current set.

How Does This Compare to Other 2026 NFL Redesigns?

The Rams will be the fifth NFL team to reveal new uniforms this offseason, dropping on the same day as the Ravens. The Titans went first with a complete rebrand. The Falcons followed with a course correction that we gave a B. The Commanders gave us the best redesign we've ever graded, earning an A. If the Rams can get rid of the gradient and deliver a clean, classic set, they could end up with one of the better outcomes of the offseason. But if they double down on the yellow and try to stay trendy, this could miss just like the 2020 set did.

We'll have the full jersey-by-jersey breakdown and grade the moment the Rams reveal drops tomorrow. For more on what the leaked draft hat told us about the rebrand, check out our draft hat breakdown here.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Rams 2026 Uniforms

When are the Rams revealing their new uniforms?

The Los Angeles Rams are unveiling their new logo and uniforms on April 16, 2026, at a block party event ahead of the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. The reveal will include updated primary home and away jerseys, with two alternate uniforms expected to be released later in the offseason.

What does the new Rams logo look like?

The new Rams logo keeps the LA design but removes the gradient that has been on the logo since 2020. The leaked draft hat showed a flat gold LA on a royal blue background with a metallic silver outline. The shape is similar to the current logo, but the solid coloring makes it feel completely different.

Are the Rams changing their helmet?

Reports are mixed on whether the Rams are updating their helmet design. Some reports suggest the primary helmet and ram horn design will remain unchanged, while others hint at possible modifications. The horn running from the helmet is one of the most iconic design elements in football.

Are the Rams getting rid of the gradient?

Yes. Multiple reports confirm that the Rams are removing the white-to-yellow gradient from their logo, uniform numbers, and all branding. The gradient has been one of the most criticized design elements in the NFL since it was introduced in 2020.

What colors will the new Rams uniforms be?

The Rams are expected to keep royal blue and gold as their primary color scheme. The main change is removing the gradient and going with flat, solid colors throughout. Two alternate uniforms will be released later in the offseason.

Are the Rams getting rid of the bone jersey?

The bone-colored away jersey has not been officially addressed, but reports suggest the Rams are moving toward a cleaner look overall. A return to traditional white road jerseys would be consistent with the direction the rebrand appears to be heading.
