The Jets have confirmed three uniform games for 2026, and the first one is the most interesting thing they have done with their look in years. A brand-new all-white helmet comes out of the box in Week 2 for a full White Out against Green Bay. The Classic uniform gets a October date against Miami. And the Gotham City Football Rivalries jersey returns to close the home schedule against New England. Here is the full New York Jets 2026 uniform schedule: the confirmed jersey dates first, then a week-by-week outlook for the green home set and the white road set.

The Confirmed Jets Uniform Games
These three are officially set by the Jets as part of their 2026 home game themes. All three are at MetLife Stadium.
Confirmed Jersey Dates
White Out · Week 2 vs. Packers · Sunday, September 20
Classic · Week 7 vs. Dolphins · Sunday, October 25
Gotham City Rivalries · Week 16 vs. Patriots · Sunday, December 27
The Full 2026 Jets Uniform Schedule, Week by Week
Here is the whole season at a glance. The three confirmed jersey games are marked with a star. Everything else follows the standard home-and-away convention. Week 13 is the bye.
The honest caveat the grid cannot show: only the three starred games are officially confirmed by the Jets. The team announced themes for all eight home dates but named a uniform for only those three, so the green-home and white-road assignments for the other fifteen weeks follow the standard NFL home-and-away convention and are our projection. Pants and the exact combinations are a week-of-game call. The Week 18 date at Buffalo has not been scheduled yet.
White Out (Week 2 vs. Packers, Confirmed)
This is the one to circle. The Jets are debuting a new alternate helmet for the home opener against Green Bay on Sunday, September 20: a white shell with a white facemask, inverting the colors of the green helmet they normally wear. Paired with a white uniform, it gives them a full monochrome White Out, and the team says it will be the first time they have worn white helmets with their primary white set.
The Jets are also asking the crowd to wear white, with white towels handed out at the gates. Monochrome looks are easy to get wrong, but the Jets have the palette for it, and an all-white kit under a September afternoon at MetLife should photograph as cleanly as anything they own. Worth noting the new shell is a separate piece from their throwback white helmet, which carries green striping and a gray facemask.

Classic (Week 7 vs. Dolphins, Confirmed)
The Jets have confirmed the Classic uniform for their First Responders Appreciation game against Miami on Sunday, October 25. This is the throwback side of the closet, the look that reaches back to the era fans still ask for, and it comes with the white helmet that carries green striping and a gray facemask rather than the new White Out shell.
The team has not detailed the full combination for that afternoon, so treat the jersey as confirmed and the pants as a game-week decision. Pinning a throwback to the Dolphins game is a good instinct: an old-school divisional matchup is exactly where a heritage uniform earns its afternoon.

Gotham City Rivalries (Week 16 vs. Patriots, Confirmed)
The Gotham City Football uniform is the Jets' entry in the NFL x Nike Rivalries program, and it returns for the home finale against New England on Sunday, December 27. The Jets came into the program with the 2025 AFC East wave alongside the Bills, Dolphins, and Patriots, and the rule is the same for everyone: the uniform comes out at a home game against a division rival.
Closing the home schedule with it is the right call. A Jets-Patriots December date at MetLife is the exact matchup the program was built to dress up, and there is a Rivalries giveaway attached. For the wider background, see our explainer on the NFL Rivalries uniform program.

Gotham Green (The Home Base, Expected)
The green home jersey is still the foundation, and it projects to the four home dates not claimed by a confirmed uniform: the Browns in Week 5, the Raiders in Week 8, the Bills in Week 10, and the Vikings in Week 17. Two of those carry announced themes of their own, a Stripe Out against Cleveland and Salute to Service against Buffalo, but the Jets did not name a jersey for either, so green is the projection rather than a confirmation.
Gotham Green remains one of the more distinctive base colors in the league. Nobody else in the NFL is wearing that shade, and in a conference full of blue and red it reads instantly on broadcast.

The White Road Set (Expected)
The white road uniform is the workhorse and projects to all nine away games: at the Titans, Lions, Bears, Patriots, Chiefs, Chargers, Dolphins, Cardinals, and the Week 18 trip to Buffalo. That is the standard convention rather than an announcement, and there is one wrinkle worth knowing about. A visiting team can only bring a colored jersey when the home team wears white, so the Jets are in white on the road unless a host specifically goes white at home.

How the Jets Rotation Works in 2026
The system is simple once you see the three anchors. Green at home, white on the road, and three home dates pulled out for something else: the White Out helmet debut in Week 2, the Classic against Miami in Week 7, and Gotham City Rivalries against New England in Week 16. That leaves four home games in the standard green.
What makes 2026 different from most Jets seasons is the helmet. Between the green shell, the new all-white shell, and the throwback white with green striping, they now have real variety up top, which is where uniform programs usually run out of room. The rest is pants and combinations, decided the week of each game.
Frequently Asked Questions
When do the Jets wear the White Out uniform in 2026? Once, at home in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, September 20. It is the first time the Jets have worn white helmets with their primary white set.
When do the Jets wear the Classic uniform in 2026? Once, at home in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, October 25, for the team's First Responders Appreciation game.
When do the Jets wear the Gotham City Rivalries jersey in 2026? At the home finale, Week 16 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, December 27. The NFL x Nike Rivalries uniforms are worn at home games against division rivals, and the Jets entered the program with the 2025 AFC East wave.
What is the Jets' primary uniform for 2026? Gotham Green at home and white on the road. The Jets project to wear green for the four home games not claimed by a confirmed uniform and white for all nine road games.
How many home games do the Jets play in 2026? Eight, in Weeks 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 14, 16, and 17. Their bye is Week 13, and the Week 18 game at Buffalo has not been scheduled yet.
Is the full Jets 2026 uniform schedule official? No. Only three games are confirmed by the team: the White Out in Week 2, the Classic in Week 7, and Gotham City Rivalries in Week 16. The Jets announced themes for all eight home games but named a uniform for only those three, so the green-home and white-road assignments everywhere else are our projection based on the standard NFL home-and-away convention.
