Lions wear the all-white Marshmallows look for the first game at the new Highmark Stadium

Detroit goes white jersey and white pants under the silver helmet on Thursday night at Buffalo, the road look its own fans nicknamed the Marshmallows. The team listed it plainly: white jerseys, white pants, white socks.

The Bills counter in the blue primary with a 2026 inaugural season patch, for the first regular season game at the new Highmark Stadium. Buffalo also has red end zones, which Bills Mafia picked in a team poll.

All white on the road is the right call for the contrast against Buffalo, and the red end zones make tonight a big look for the Bills too.

The Pacers debut their ABA Classic Court tonight, with both teams in ABA throwbacks

The Pacers posted "Debuting our ABA Classic Court today" on Sunday morning with a photo from the rafters at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The floor has yellow paint with plaid lanes for coach Bobby "Slick" Leonard, the Pacers P at center court with the ABA championship trophy silhouette, and 1970, 1972 and 1973 for the three ABA titles.

It is a throwback night on both sides. The Nets visit at 5 p.m. Eastern, and both teams are scheduled to wear their ABA Classic Edition uniforms: the Pacers in their blue Classic Threads and the Nets in their ABA set. The same two teams met in throwbacks in Brooklyn on October 25, the first Classic Edition against Classic Edition game of the season, and Indiana won 136-109. We ranked the Pacers' jersey and court No. 1 of the four ABA teams in our Classic Edition rankings.

The plaid lanes look even better on the real floor. Best court in the league tonight.

Wumbo is back: Tulane brings back its oversized Angry Wave helmet for Halloween weekend

Tulane posted "WUMBO is BACK" on Wednesday with four photos of the helmet against a dark New Orleans skyline. It is a white helmet with an oversized green Angry Wave, the wave's eyes and curling crest spread across the whole shell, and a green facemask.

Wumbo is what Tulane and its fans call the big version of the Angry Wave logo. The program used #Wumbo when the helmet first came out in 2018, and it has come back a handful of times since, including in 2024. Tulane has not shown the jersey or pants yet.

The Green Wave play at Charlotte on Friday night, October 30, at 7 p.m. Eastern on ESPN2, the night before Halloween. Every other Halloween weekend look is in our college football Week 9 uniforms guide.

Wumbo is back, and it's a nice one for Halloween.

Oregon goes black helmet with white wings for Northwestern

Oregon posted its Game 8 combo on Wednesday night with the line "Bold by design." It is a matte black helmet with white wings and a black facemask, a black jersey with silver numbers outlined in green and diamond-plate texture across the shoulders, and white pants.

The white wings are the story. Oregon's helmets usually carry chrome, green or yellow wings, and a flat white wing on a black shell is about as stark as the Ducks get. The green only shows up in the outline around the numbers.

No. 20 Northwestern visits Autzen Stadium on Saturday, October 31, at 3:30 p.m. Eastern on Peacock. Oregon is 4-3 after losing 21-10 at Illinois. Every other Halloween weekend look is in our college football Week 9 uniforms guide.

It's a bit boring, but I like the helmet. I just wish there were green outlines around the feathers on the helmet.

Arkansas says no to Mizzou's color-on-color request for the Battle Line game

Missouri asked to wear its home jerseys at Arkansas on Saturday, and Arkansas said no. Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz shared it this week, as Saturday Down South reported. The Tigers wanted a color-on-color game, with both teams in their home colors. Arkansas has not commented.

Under NCAA rules, the visiting team wears white unless the home team agrees to something else. So unless the Razorbacks change their minds, Missouri will be in white on Halloween night in Fayetteville, and Arkansas will be in a dark jersey for its Homecoming game. Arkansas fans have been calling for a blackout, but the school has not announced one, so cardinal is still the call until it does.

Kickoff is 7:45 p.m. ET on SEC Network, Saturday, October 31. Every Week 9 look is in our college football Week 9 uniforms guide, and both teams' full seasons are in the Missouri and Arkansas uniform schedules.

It would have been so cool to see color-on-color. I especially love it in football for special occasions, and a Halloween rivalry game is exactly that, so I don't agree with the decision.
