UConn gets a red alternate jersey, its first alternate since 2016

North Texas announced an all-white set for Saturday at Texas State: white helmet with the green eagle, white jersey with green numbers, and white pants with the green Texas logo. It is the Mean Green's first all-white look under Neal Brown.

North Texas wore green at home in last week's 44-6 win over UNLV and white with green pants at Indiana in the opener.

Utah State is wearing a throwback helmet with its 1992 to 1995 logo, the bull leaping through a block U, for Homecoming against Troy on Saturday, September 26. The jersey and pants have not been announced.

It will be the Aggies' fourth different helmet in four weeks, after the cow print in the opener, white at Washington, and navy at Utah this Saturday.

Tulsa posted the set on Wednesday under "Nothing like a classic look": a red jersey with white block numbers, a blue sleeve band with gold stripes, and gold pants. The photos were shot at a vintage gas station with a classic Chevy, the year Route 66 turns 100.

Tulsa has not named the game. It has also posted a "making of the helmet" teaser, so a matching helmet may be coming. Saturday against East Texas A&M is the best bet.

Indiana posted its jersey-by-jersey schedule for the season, one graphic per uniform. We counted it: the gold pinstriped Statement is booked for 31 games (17 home, 14 road), the white Association for 13 (6 home, 7 road) and the navy Icon for 10 (5 and 5).

That covers 54 of the 80 dated games. The other 26 were left off, with no City Edition list yet. Opening night at New Orleans is an Association game; the home opener against Dallas is gold.
