Tottenham's 2026/27 Kits: Reviewed And Graded

ColorWay Sports·

Tottenham are the least complete wardrobe of Europe's fifteen biggest clubs going into 2026/27. The home shirt has launched, the away has been worn in a match without reaching shops, and the third is still a leak. Two shirts to grade, and the better of them is the one you cannot buy yet.

The Home Shirt: B-

Lilywhite with a textured diagonal tonal stripe patterned directly into the fabric, and navy blue on the collar and cuffs. The diagonal treatment references the iconic mid-1980s Hummel shirts.

The reference is a good one. Those Hummel kits are among the best Tottenham have ever worn, and a modern club nodding to them is the right instinct. The problem is that the nod is so quiet you need to be told it is there, and once you strip it out you are left with a white shirt with navy trim, which is what Tottenham wear every single season.

ESPN ranked it 34th of every Premier League kit and described it as plain by design, and called the diagonal hash marks a reference to far superior Hummel kits. That is harsh but it is not wrong. This is not a bad shirt. It is an interchangeable one, and for a club with a genuinely distinctive archive to draw on, that is the disappointment.

Grade: B-

The Away Shirt: B

Worn before it was sold. Tottenham posted its first outing on July 28, so it has already had a game in it even though kit-tracking sites still have it filed as a leak and it has not gone on general sale. It comes with custom shorts rather than reusing another set.

It is the better of the two Tottenham shirts, which is not a high bar this season, and the important thing is that it reads as a decision rather than a repeat. That alone puts it above the home kit.

Grade: B

The Third Shirt: Not Yet Released

Also still a leak. Early images point to a dark purple base with lighter purple vertical stripes, which would be the most adventurous thing in the wardrobe by a distance if it holds.

Same rule applies. We grade it when Tottenham release it.

Tottenham's 2026/27 Wardrobe Grade

ColorWay Sports Wardrobe Grade

B

Home: B-  ·  Away: B  ·  Third: Pending

Two graded shirts, and the away is the one carrying it. This is still the thinnest wardrobe of Europe's fifteen biggest clubs, because the third has not landed and the away has not reached shops, but it is no longer the lowest. If the leaked purple third arrives looking the way it appears to, this grade has room to move again.

Who Makes Tottenham's Kits?

Nike, who have supplied Tottenham since 2017.

The Bottom Line

The home shirt is a white-and-navy repeat carrying a mid-1980s Hummel reference so subtle it barely registers, and it grades a B-. The away, worn once but not yet in shops, is the better shirt at a B. The third is still a leak. Wardrobe grade: B, and the leaked purple third is the one to watch.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Tottenham's 2026/27 kits?

Only the home shirt has properly launched: Lilywhite with a diagonal tonal stripe woven into the fabric and navy blue on the collar and cuffs, referencing mid-1980s Hummel designs. The away shirt has been worn in a match but not retailed, and the third is still a leak. Nike make all of them.

What grade do Tottenham's 2026/27 kits get?

The home shirt gets a B- and the away gets a B. The wardrobe grade is a B. The third kit has not been released and is not graded.

Why does Tottenham's 2026/27 home shirt look like last season's?

Because it largely does. The one new element is a diagonal tonal stripe patterned into the fabric, which is difficult to see at any distance. ESPN ranked it 34th of every Premier League shirt and called it plain by design.

When do Tottenham's 2026/27 away and third kits come out?

Neither has a confirmed retail date. The away kit has already been worn in a match, with Tottenham posting its first outing on July 28, 2026, but it has not gone on general sale. The third remains a leak and appears to be dark purple with lighter purple vertical stripes. We will grade both and update this post as they settle.

What is the Tottenham 2026/27 third kit?

Still unreleased. Leaked images point to a dark purple base with lighter purple vertical stripes, which would make it the boldest shirt in the wardrobe by some margin.

Who makes Tottenham's kits?

Nike, who have been Tottenham's supplier since 2017.
