NFL Crucial Catch 2026 Schedule: Every Team's Cancer Awareness Game, and the Gear Is Already Out

NFL Crucial Catch 2026 runs almost entirely across three October Sundays: October 4, October 11 and October 18, which are Weeks 4, 5 and 6 of the season. The league has not put out a single team-by-team calendar, so we built one from each club's own 2026 home game theme announcements.

Here is where it stands: 21 of the 32 teams have named their Crucial Catch game. The other 11 have not, and for those we list the October home games where it is most likely to land, clearly marked as expected. One team breaks the pattern entirely. Jacksonville holds its Crucial Catch game in September, because the Jaguars spend Weeks 5 and 6 in London.

The 2026 Crucial Catch hats and hoodies are also already on sale, a few weeks before the first game. More on that below.

What Crucial Catch Is, and How It Changed

Crucial Catch is the NFL's cancer screening campaign with the American Cancer Society. It launched in 2009 as a breast cancer awareness push, which is why so many fans still picture a pink October.

In 2017 the league and the ACS broadened it. After nearly a decade focused on breast cancer, the campaign expanded to early detection and risk reduction for multiple cancers, starting with breast, colorectal and cervical, under the name "Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer." Today every club supports the league's early detection mission and each year picks one or more cancers to highlight. The league's apparel now carries a multi-colored logo meant to represent all cancers.

Pink has not vanished. The Bears still pair their game with Bears Care's Real Bears Fans Wear Pink, and pink is one of the two main colorways on the 2026 retail line. It is just no longer the whole story. The Steelers describe 2026 as the 18th consecutive season of the partnership.

When Is Crucial Catch in 2026?

The pattern is steady. The NFL and the ACS activated Crucial Catch in Weeks 4 through 6 in both 2024 and 2025, per the American Cancer Society's September 26 releases in each of those years.

The 2026 team announcements match it exactly. Week 1 opened Thursday, September 10, which puts the three Crucial Catch Sundays here:

  • Week 4: Sunday, October 4 (plus Thursday, Oct. 1 and Monday, Oct. 5)
  • Week 5: Sunday, October 11 (plus Thursday, Oct. 8 and Monday, Oct. 12)
  • Week 6: Sunday, October 18 (plus Thursday, Oct. 15)

We have not found a 2026 league release that names the weeks outright. Every confirmed game except Jacksonville's falls on one of those three weekends, so we treat Weeks 4 to 6 as the 2026 window.

Crucial Catch 2026 Schedule, Week by Week

These are the 21 games the teams themselves have tagged as Crucial Catch. The uniform note comes from each club's full week-by-week breakdown. "Confirmed" means the team announced the jersey. "Projected" means we are going by the standard home-jersey convention.

Week 3: Sunday, September 27

  • Jacksonville Jaguars vs New England Patriots. Uniform: teal home (projected). The early date is the Jaguars' choice, since their Week 5 and 6 home games are in London.

Week 4: Sunday, October 4

  • Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots. Uniform: blue primary (confirmed). It is Buffalo's only October home game.
  • Chicago Bears vs New York Jets. Uniform: navy home (projected). Also the Real Bears Fans Wear Pink game, with a halftime recognition of breast cancer survivors.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers. Uniform: red home (projected).
  • Minnesota Vikings vs Miami Dolphins. Uniform: purple jersey, white pants (confirmed). Shared with Latino Heritage.
  • San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos. Uniform: scarlet home (projected). Shared with Roger Craig's Hall of Fame ring ceremony.
  • Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans. Uniform: purple home (projected). Every fan gets an "I Honor" placard.
  • Cincinnati Bengals vs Jacksonville Jaguars. Uniform: black home (projected). It is Cincinnati's only October home game.

Week 5: Sunday, October 11

Week 6: Sunday, October 18

The 11 Teams That Have Not Named a Crucial Catch Game

None of these clubs has published a 2026 Crucial Catch date that we could find. Below are their home games inside the Weeks 4 to 6 window. These are expected, not confirmed. We will move each team up to the schedule above as soon as it announces.

  • Dallas Cowboys: expected Week 5, Thursday, Oct. 8 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is Dallas's only home game in the window, and the Cowboys have confirmed white for it.
  • Philadelphia Eagles: Week 4, Oct. 4 vs Los Angeles Rams, or Week 6, Oct. 18 vs Carolina Panthers. Both are Midnight Green (projected).
  • Cleveland Browns: Week 4, Thursday, Oct. 1 vs Pittsburgh Steelers, or Week 6, Oct. 18 vs Baltimore Ravens. Cleveland hosted Baltimore for its Crucial Catch game in 2023. Brown home (projected).
  • Houston Texans: unclear. The Texans' full 2026 theme list does not mention Crucial Catch. Their Week 4 home game vs Dallas on Oct. 4 is already the 25th Season game, where Houston has confirmed white and Dallas navy.
  • Denver Broncos: expected Week 6, Thursday, Oct. 15 vs Seattle Seahawks, Denver's only home game in the window. The Broncos have confirmed the Orange Crush throwback for that night.
  • Los Angeles Rams: Week 5, Monday, Oct. 12 vs Buffalo Bills, or Week 6, Oct. 18 vs Arizona Cardinals. Royal home (projected).
  • Detroit Lions: unclear. Detroit has no home game in Weeks 4 to 6 (at Carolina, at Arizona, then a bye). The nearest home dates are Week 3 vs the Jets on Sept. 27 and Week 7 vs Green Bay on Oct. 25.
  • Green Bay Packers: Week 6, Oct. 18 vs Dallas Cowboys is the Packers Vs. Cancer game, benefiting the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center. Green Bay's announcement does not use the Crucial Catch name, but it is the obvious fit. Green home (projected).
  • Atlanta Falcons: Week 5, Oct. 11 vs Baltimore Ravens (Sunday Night Football), or Week 6, Oct. 18 vs Chicago Bears. Red (confirmed for both).
  • New Orleans Saints: Week 4, Monday, Oct. 5 vs Atlanta Falcons, or Week 5, Oct. 11 vs Minnesota Vikings. White and black respectively (both confirmed).
  • Carolina Panthers: expected Week 4, Oct. 4 vs Detroit Lions (Sunday Night Football), Carolina's only home game in the window. Black (confirmed).

What Teams Wear for Crucial Catch

Crucial Catch does not change the jersey. Teams wear their normal home or road uniform, which is why every uniform note above is simply the club's regular look for that week. What changes is everything around the jersey.

In its 2025 release, the NFL listed the on-field elements as Crucial Catch game balls, goal post wraps, field-wall banners, and Nike and New Era apparel for players, coaches and officials carrying the multi-colored all-cancers logo. The sideline hats and hoodies are the most visible pieces on a broadcast. In 2024 the league's hats went to a rainbow plaid.

In the breast cancer years the list ran much longer and was all pink: cleats, gloves, wristbands, chin straps, captains' patches, helmet decals and towels. Some players still work pink or multi-colored accessories into their Crucial Catch games, but the league has not published a 2026 equipment list.

Game-worn Crucial Catch gear goes up on NFL Auction after the games, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

When the 2026 Crucial Catch Apparel Drops

It already has. When we checked on September 14, the 2026 collection was live at NFL Shop, New Era and the team pro shops, before any team had played its Crucial Catch game.

What is out so far:

  • Hats (New Era): six 2026 styles for every team. The 19TWENTY snapback is $44.99, the 39THIRTY stretch fit $48.99, the 59FIFTY fitted $58.99, the 9SEVENTY trucker $49.99, the split-panel 9FIFTY snapback $54.99, and the pom knit $37.99. The caps pair the team logo with a multicolor brushstroke print, a Crucial Catch Intercept Cancer patch on the right side, and a neon pink undervisor.
  • Hoodies (Nike): the 2026 NFL Crucial Catch Sideline Standard Issue Dri-FIT pullover, in pink and black, at $109.99.
  • T-shirts (Nike): the 2026 NFL Crucial Catch Tri-Blend Dri-FIT tee, in pink and black, at $49.99.

Some team and style combinations are already sold out or showing "notify me," so the popular hats go fast in the weeks before October. The NFL says it does not profit from Crucial Catch merchandise. Sales go to the American Cancer Society, and the league reported $35 million raised since 2009 as of 2025.

Twenty-one teams have told us exactly which game it is, and the 11 that have not are mostly down to one or two realistic dates. The jerseys will not change, but the hats and hoodies will, and those are already on the shelves. We will update this page as the remaining teams announce.
